I’ve read the reviews and scratching my head at what some people are using it for. This is a mallet for tapping tile as your setting them . If you hadn’t noticed it’s made of white rubber so it doesn’t leave black marks on the tiles. If you want to use a rubber mallet in the garden or around the garage then buy a black one because they are made of harder rubber and quit complaining because you didn’t buy the right tool for the job.

Inexpensive, got the job done perfectly. I used this mallet to help remove a stuck-on valve cover from a car. Gentle taps all around while carefully pulling on the cover, and the mallet did not leave a mark anywhere. It is a good size – heavy enough without being too bulky.
