Expand your network to support up to 10G connections to computers, NAS devices, and more with the QSW-M1208-8C-US 12-Port 10GbE Managed Switch from QNAP. This web-managed switch is designed to provide high flexibility with eight 10G Ethernet RJ45 / SFP+ combo ports that support Cat 6a or above copper cables alongside four 10G SFP+ fiber uplink ports. Its 240 Gb/s switching capacity and 120 Gb/s non-blocking throughput help to ensure maximum performance from each of the ports. This switch is also backward compatible with slower Ethernet speeds. On the back is a Gigabit Ethernet maintenance port and an RS-232 serial console connector. With its sleek design, the QSW-M1208-8C-US can be mounted on a desk or rack with the included kit while its integrated cooling fans operate quietly to help maintain optimal temperature and performance.

This switch is awesome. Compact but also rackmountable. Has tons of ports, all 10GbE. SFP and RJ-45 options. The web GUI is totally intuitive and easier to use than comparable product from Netgear. Best of all, it’s QUIET. My previous switch belonged in a machine room. This one sits in my office and doesn’t make any sounds that I can hear.

10G connectivity between my QNAP NAS and my PC through my QNAP Single-Port 10GbE Network Expansion Card is really fantastic. Not only that, but I can take full advantage on my internet provider’s full speeds across any device connected to this switch. I also use a Netgear Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router the gives me 3,500 square feet coverage, so my entire house (2,000 square feet) gets much faster Wifi connectivity. Worth every penny, easy to configure and manage interface. I have this QSW-M1208-8C rack mounted in my basement next to my NASes and a little PoE unmanaged switch sitting on top that powers my security cameras. I am very happy with my purchase!
