I love my veggies and steamed veggies are even better. I can cook a whole meal for my family with this steamer , that’s healthy and tastes delicious. It’s oven and stovetop safe. I love the grip handles and the shatter resistant glass, makes it easy to check your food without opening the lid. To top it all off, it’s non stick and dishwasher safe. That’s a huge plus for me.

I am amazed at how spacious this steamer is. I am able to put so much stuff in this pot and it all steams evenly. I love that it’s lightweight and comes with covered handles. The packaging also leaves all of the guest work out of how to care for the set, there are tips on how to care and temperature limits. I tried out the Rachael Ray 3-piece Steamer Set this week. I truly like the set’s neat styling, the teal handles and how well the pieces fit into each other. I steamed frozen vegetables with the 3 pieces and was very impressed with the way the veggies cooked but still remained firm. Next, using the non-stick bottom pan and the cover, I prepared a chicken stew. The food simmered for about 45 minutes and poured out of the pan without sticking.The only drawbacks to this set are that the set is not dishwasher safe (but does clean up easily in the sink) and the bottom pan has some embossing on its cook side that might scratch glass-top stoves, unless the lengthy instructions are read and followed exactly.

This is a really great steamer set. It’s the perfect size (same diameter as my largest burner) and can be used for so many different things. It heats evenly but still quickly. I even used the bottom pan to brown hamburger and cook spaghetti sauce.

I absolutely love this Rachel ray pan and steamer set. I wasn’t aware of this brand of pots and pans before i got this one. It has been wonderful for sauteeing and steaming vegetables. Used this set last night to cook dinner. The pot and steamer are light, which could be a good thing and a bad thing. The set itself is easy to use and clean, and you can use the bottom non-stock pot for other purposes like pan fry something or grill the vegetables. Overall, not bad. I just hope it will last!

I was given this product by the TryIt Sampling Community free to trial and review. What a wonderful product – great color, very useful, easy to handle, and well thought out. The size is excellent for steaming just about anything, you don’t risk burning your hands with the covered handles and lid, and it is very easy to clean up. On top of all that, it really encourages me to eat more vegetable, more frequently. Plus, all the great nutrients are maintained with steaming vs. cooking them in water. I would highly recommend this prouct!

I used to use a steamer basket that you’d put in a pot to steam vegetables. So when I had the opportunity to try out this 3-Piece Steamer Set, Red Shimmer, I was curious to see if this set would replace my old steamer basket. Since I only have basic cooking skills I wasn’t sure what else you could use for this 3-Piece Steamer Set, Red Shimmer instead of just steaming vegetables. So I do wish this set came with some cooking ideas or at least one recipe that goes beyond just steaming a vegetable. I love the color red of this set. The 3-quart covered sauteuse is a very pretty shimmery red. I like how the handles have silicone on them to protect your hands from heat. However, while most of the edges are smooth I felt the top edge rim of the sauteuse was a little pointy to the touch for me. This set is dishwasher safe which is nice if I decided to wash it in the dishwasher. I like how this set can be cooked on all stovetops including an induction stove. I felt the heat in the sauteuse heated up quickly and steamed the vegetable I was steaming faster than I thought it took to steam it to my desired tenderness. So I thought it cooked great.

We have used small steamer basket that sets into one of our regular pots for years. We were tired of burning ourselves on it as well as it’s small capacity. This steamer set is perfect for us! It’s wide base allows for water to boil faster. The steamer basket is deep and can hold more and larger items and we couldn’t be more thrilled. It fit enough veggies for our family of 4 and it steamed larger items like herbs so I didn’t lose them through the small holes. The handles are nice and protect your hands so they don’t get burned and you don’t have to reach inside to pull anything out with the basket removing so easily. We LOVE this steamer and are so excited to have it.
