I have used the Rachel Ray pot set for a year or so now and love them, so I was excited about adding the fondue set. It did not disappoint. The pot is cast iron and can be used with the stand included or on the stove. The set comes with a stand that has a burner under it so that you can use it outside of the kitchen! You need to buy gel chafing fuel to use with the set if not using on the stove. The set comes with 6 different skewers. They are color coded so you know which one is yours in a group. Great fun!

The set was much heavier and sturdier than anticipated. The cast iron set held heat in fairly consistent throughout its use and maintained the correct temperature. The set got great reviews from my family members during the holidays but found myself needing to refill due to my larger party size. I’ll need the larger size for next year!

Prior to using the Red Shimmer Fondue Set I had never attempted to make fondue at home before. I’m so glad we have this because it is so easy to use! The fondue set is very sturdy and cast iron so it handles well with multiple people diving in. I love that we can try several different types of fondue in it. Our first attempt we made a cheese fondue and it stayed hot the whole meal. The whole family loved it! Can’t wait to try a chocolate fondue in it! It is easy to clean and has a non stick surface. The red shimmer coloring is very pretty and even sparkles in the light. Would absolutely recommend this product!

My husband and kiddos loved it. Only downfall for me is i would have loved some recipes added to this set. I tried to upload pics but it wasn’t successful!

The fondue set is a very nice shade of red. The Fondue set comes with 6 skewers and the pot is an adequate size. The pot does seem to hold heat well and kept things warm enough to keep cheese melted. The fondue set was easy to clean and small enough that it doesn’t take up much room for storage.

My wife and I just celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary and thought that this Rachel Ray Fondue Set would make a great gift that we could use at home for a romantic night to commemorate our time together. This set was a hit! She loved everything about it: it has an attractive shimmery red color, it is cast iron and thus it was sturdy and has a substantial weight to it (which I am happy about for safety reasons), easy to put together and clean-up is easy. Because the pot has an enamel finish, it wipes off easy with a sponge; it is not dishwasher safe. I expected it be bigger in size, yet it would be perfect for our family of four or to put out on the appetizer table for social gatherings. I like that the fondue forks are color coded help differentiate the fork between users. As stated, this set DOES NOT come with the required chafing gel fuel. I was easily able to purchase it at a big box store in the camping department. The only negative remark about this set, , thus a 4-star, is that although the enclosed instructions explains how to assemble it, it did not include any instructions for the actual fondue. This is was disappointing since this was first time making fondue at home and did not know how to use a fondue maker. The lack of this detail was surprising considering that this is a Rachel Ray product and she is a chef and thus providing a few simple fondue recipes would have been helpful to the consumer and in her expertise. We found a delicious and easy recipe online and made the cheese fondue on our stovetop over medium flame and then put the pot back over the base and lit the fuel. We felt that the temperature control cap only needed to be at its lowest setting to keep the fondue warm. Even at this setting the cheese fondue was very hot. Lastly, the fuel holder states to fill with max of ¾ fuel. My wife and I used that much and felt it was too much just for the both of us.. Therefore, I would gauge the amount of time you need the fondue warmed for to determine how much you will need. I cannot wait until our children are home for the Holidays to try other fondues with them and during our social gatherings throughout the Holiday season! I sincerely recommend this, and it would make a great gift for those who are difficult to buy for!.

I was so happy to get my Rachael Ray fondue set. I figured it would work better for making chocolate fondue than using a pot. Well it worked much better once I got the consistency of the chocolate right. I wish it came with some recipes. It was easy to clean after using it.I like the 6 fondue forks that come with it so everyone can have there own. I can’t wait to use this on Thanksgiving and make cheese fondue!

This fondue set is very durable, provides even heating with the heavy-duty cast-iron stand, and the color is very bright and fun . It can be used carefully in the oven as well up to 500 °F. This set is perfect for a small gathering of friends or family. The first time I used this set I made a beer cheese dip and what I liked was the even distribution of heat, the handles on the side, and how easy it was to set up and break down. I really liked how the fondue forks are conveniently color coated on the top so when handing the forks out everyone remembers which fork theirs is, or at least that is the hope. Another great use for this fondue set is making a small batch of soup for two people. It is very easy to use on top of the stove with only adding low heat because the heat is so evenly distributed. When everything is done the pot itself is very easy to clean due to the enameled interior and exterior. I can’t wait to try this fondue set out with chocolate as I have a small family and this would be the perfect size for three people.

This is our first Fondue Set, used it a few times and love it. The Cast Iron Fondue Pot is very heavy and well made. I thought 1.5 Quart capacity would be small but it really isn’t in my opinion. Never used the gel fuel before however after following the instructions I found that fuel pot works amazingly well. I was able to control the heat to keep the cheese exactly at the heat that was needed. We totally enjoyed the fondue dining experience. Clean up was extremely easy and in a matter of just a few minutes I had had it cleaned, dried and stored ready for the next use which will be a chocolate fondue experience for dessert at our backyard bbq.
