This Rachael Ray Cast Iron 12-inch Skillet has to be one of the best skillets I’ve ever used. This is a versatile skillet that can be used in the oven as well. The skillet is a constructed, durable cast iron skillet for a steady perfect browning on cheeseburgers and more. The skillet exterior features a red shimmer finish and is Very Durable. The cast-iron skillet is heavyweight decent in size also easy to clean. I usually cook burgers on the grill, but with the skillet, it has become more convenient and an easier process. My chicken casserole cooks so well in the oven with this skillet. First of all it is very heavy and the red is beautiful and matches the decor in my kitchen. I have used it 4 times now and it truly is non-stick. You can also use this in the oven. I love this skillet. I’ve already used it a few times and I’m very happy with it. It’s great quality (made of iron), durable and the perfect size. I’ve been cooking a lot of meats in here and sauces and I love how they don’t stick like how they do in traditional pans. I also like how it’s ovenproof to up to 500 degrees. I love this pan! It performs like a high end brand. I use it almost every day and so far it has held up with no chips. Tip, I use wooden or silicone spatulas only. Rachel Ray really makes wonderful products and at fantastic value. Definitely would recommend.

I have to say I am impressed with how nice this is. When I got it I made sure to read the box to see what all it could do. It says it can be used in the oven, however I have not tried that yet. I will be soon when I make corn bread. I have used it for fries and browning meat as well as pork chops. All of which it worked perfectly. I had no problems with any if them stick to the pan. I didnt see where it said it was dishwasher safe ,may have overlooked it, so I have been handwashing, but that only takes a few seconds and its clean. It does seem to be very well made as well as durable. It is a bit heavy, but it is cast iron (or so the box says) so that is to be expected. Overall I am very pleased with how nice this is and how well it works.

I am in love ! This is a heavy duty cook everything pan. I have been using it for over 2 weeks now and wow just amazing performance. Even temperatures. I am a vegetarian and use no oil to cook with and I have no worry with this pan. She’s a work horse( I called her Ray) cornbread is awesome and yes the handles can burn you if your not careful. It’s a heavy-duty pan for sure. Made big enough for an entire meal in one pan with ease.Love this one and she’ll love you back.

This is a heavy duty skillet. The red color is very vibrant. I like that the skillet is pre-seasoned so after washing it is ready to use. The 12 inch size allows you to sear several pieces of meat at one time and holds large amounts of food. The skillet gets hot very quickly and stays very hot so it’s is easy to burn food in this skillet. Washing the skillet can be difficult if something burned or stuck to the pan but soaking seems to help this. Keep in mind this is a very heavy skillet and even I had to use 2 hands, so keep that in mind if gifting this skillet.

Love this skillet. It’s way easier to clean and take care of than I thought it would be. I actually store mine on the bottom rack of my oven. It’s heavy but that is to be expected. The pan is good quality, smoothly cast and not pitted. It cooked well and retained heat as expected.
