I love the grip handles and the shatter resistant glass, makes it easy to check your food without opening the lid. To top it all off, it’s non stick and dishwasher safe. That’s a huge plus for me.

I like to steam buns and potatos using steamers, and I’ve always had problems with uniform heating. This steamer set is a rockstar! The set is easy to use and is portable. I have made several meals with this steamer and with each and every meal I continue to be impressed. The pan distributes heat evenly and clean up is a breeze. I was given this product by the TryIt Sampling Community free to trial and review. What a wonderful product – great color, very useful, easy to handle, and well thought out. The size is excellent for steaming just about anything, you don’t risk burning your hands with the covered handles and lid, and it is very easy to clean up. On top of all that, it really encourages me to eat more vegetable, more frequently. Plus, all the great nutrients are maintained with steaming vs. cooking them in water. I would highly recommend this prouct!

I decided to try out this amazing steamer sent to me by viewpoints to review by making some cod. I put too much water in the bottom and it began to boil the fish I was able to touch the handles and empty some of the water. You barely need water to get it going. I would highly recommend the Rachel Ray steamer set. I can’t wait to use the pan some more. I have a feeling it will be one of my favorites!

Great size for 2 people. You can steam approximately 12-16 dumplings in one time. Bottom pan is great for cooking soup or shimmering meat in sauce. Overall I’m pleased with the item, I just wish we could get additional steamer part, so it could fit more dumplings 🙂

What I love about this Steamer set is the color of it, the red stands out and it shimmers. I like that it’s nonstick so I don’t have to worry about food sticking to it and it’s very easy to clean. I have used it to steam vegetables and make shrimp recipes. The handles make it easy to grab onto so I can pick it up and move it. The lid keeps the heat in and makes the food hot, flavorful, and delicious.

I’ve used this a few times now- it’s got a great, basic construction that looks to last for years and years. The base is non-stick, but I’m not sure that matters from a steaming perspective. It can be used to cook other things, I suppose, if you’re using it for a sauce or casserole. The handles are rubber, and are comfortable. The steam grate is made of metal, and looks to be of high quality.

I received this item about a month ago. We absolutely love it for chicken and veggies. We cook the chicken in the bottom of the pan to brown, then we steam the veggies on top. The rubbbee handles make it so easy to shake the veggies and chicken together after it is all cooked. I would definitely recommend this to everyone’s can’t wait to cook other recipes soon.

This is a great set especially for those who like to multi-task! It worked excellent when I used the bottom portion to make rice and put veggies in the top part to steam. I love that its 2 separate parts that are large enough to function separately as well – so if you want to use the bottom part to make whatever one night without the streamer you can. It does say that it can be used in the oven as well so an extra bonus. This is really well made and seems like it should last for awhile.

If I coulkd give this pot more than five stars I would and why not? This pot is so versatile you will find yourself pulling it out for many uses. First as a vegetable steamer it is top notch, with the glass cover I can see how my veggies are coming along and can take them out when I see they are done! I have also used this steamer pot to make the moistest chicken I have ever had and fish you ask…over the top perfection! I have boiled a bit of pasta in the bottom pot and strained it into the steamer basket. I have also made some yummy sunny side up eggs. I am really thrilled with this pot, it does it’s job and then some and does all of them equally well. This pot is really well made, the hard anodized construction will hold up for years and years. The handles being silicone don’t get hot for easy handling. The pot edge is rolled so when you pour things easily. This pot is a beauty, you won’t mind it sitting out on your stove!

We have used small steamer basket that sets into one of our regular pots for years. We were tired of burning ourselves on it as well as it’s small capacity. This steamer set is perfect for us! It’s wide base allows for water to boil faster. The steamer basket is deep and can hold more and larger items and we couldn’t be more thrilled. It fit enough veggies for our family of 4 and it steamed larger items like herbs so I didn’t lose them through the small holes. The handles are nice and protect your hands so they don’t get burned and you don’t have to reach inside to pull anything out with the basket removing so easily. We LOVE this steamer and are so excited to have it.

I used to use a steamer basket that you’d put in a pot to steam vegetables. So when I had the opportunity to try out this 3-Piece Steamer Set, Red Shimmer, I was curious to see if this set would replace my old steamer basket. Since I only have basic cooking skills I wasn’t sure what else you could use for this 3-Piece Steamer Set, Red Shimmer instead of just steaming vegetables. So I do wish this set came with some cooking ideas or at least one recipe that goes beyond just steaming a vegetable. I love the color red of this set. The 3-quart covered sauteuse is a very pretty shimmery red. I like how the handles have silicone on them to protect your hands from heat. However, while most of the edges are smooth I felt the top edge rim of the sauteuse was a little pointy to the touch for me. This set is dishwasher safe which is nice if I decided to wash it in the dishwasher. I like how this set can be cooked on all stovetops including an induction stove. I felt the heat in the sauteuse heated up quickly and steamed the vegetable I was steaming faster than I thought it took to steam it to my desired tenderness. So I thought it cooked great.
