RainDesign’s iLap LAP/Desk Stand for 15″ Powerbooks is made to keep you and your laptop cool. Use it on your desk to prevent overheating your motherboard, or use it on your own lap, when away from a desk to keep both you and your laptop cool. The light aluminum structure and thick pads at front and back let you work comfortably in many locations with equal ease. Originally designed to match the Apple MacBook Pro and Powerbooks, iLap is equally suitable for other 15″ laptops as well. Its sand-blasted aluminum with silver anodized finish complements any model. iLap comes in other sizes as well: 12″, 14″, 15″ widescreen and 17″ widescreen versions.

Comfortable and helps keep the laptop cool through its design.

It pretty handy when use on lap. The only issue is soft roll, without it laptop slides down, but when attached it interfere with touchpad using. It does not cool my laptop, as I expect. I dont see any difference when use on table. Its too slippery, laptop slides down every time. Included plastic feet helps, but with its laptop do not contact aluminium surface and ilap lose any cooling ability.
