The gold mStand Laptop Stand from Rain Design lifts your notebook 6″, so you can have a better viewing experience. This stand is compatible with most MacBooks, MacBook Pros, and laptops that have a depth under 10.3″. It positions the laptop’s display to eye level, improving your posture. With a tilt design, it angles the computer’s keyboard so you can still see and have access to the keys. To keep your desk organized, a cable outlet is on board. Furthermore, the mStand is constructed from a single piece of aluminum, which acts as a heat sink to cool your computer.

I spent days trying to find a laptop stand until I saw that price and even design really matched for Mac product, both same color of metal. I didn’t have to spend extra on fancy one and awful-looking big product taking up the space of the desk. I could keep my back straight up while I type, and right height that where I would look with my eyes equally. It helps me focused more than I would bend my back and making my arms numb against the table. Thankfully, I didn’t have to buy traditional desktop PC. Even I have my MacBook Air with protecting shell case that does fit on the laptop stand. I love it when I put my wireless keyboard under mStand or you could store anything under mStand. You could type individual keyboard under the laptop stand when you get to look close enough to the screen. That’s pretty easy and best product I had, I mean, my back, neck, legs, and arms was awfully numb and strained for too many years!

Got this for the wife to complment her apple 24 display, liked it so much that I got one for my self as well! Puts the laptop display in a more useful position as a secondary display (requires external keyboard), also helps the computer keep cool in temps. designed to look like recent apple products, the foot looks like the foot of the apple displays only a tad wider, looks nice on the desk. I feel its a bit expensive but looks much nicer than similar products

The unit only weights 5 lbs but it feels solid and supports the laptop like it was custom made for it. The mass of the solid aluminum construction absorbs and dampens vibration. The laptop sits solidly with no bounce when using the keyboard. If your laptop has an aluminium body it naturaly blends in with the unit creating an almost seamless fussion.

I had been recommended this laptop stand for work from home purposes and it’s been great. I think the height of it is a bit lower than I need at my desk so I put it on top of a big book. However, depends what your setup is like. The angle of the stand is great for video calls etc

It is pretty much great. My only suggestion it to make the hole for opening the macbook the same size as it is on the macbook. So, a bit bigger.

Overall this is a great product. It is streamline, and does exactly what was needed – raising the macbook air to eye level. a few design changes/issues are that for a regular macbook (or macbook pro) the lip from the stand would be flush with the laptop. however with a macbook air, the lip sticks out quite a bit and doesnt align perfectly. also, for a macbook, macbook pro or a macbook air – most of the plugs/connectors are on the sides – so while there is a nice port coming through the back, i still have all my cords sticking out on both sides.

For the price, this thing is a tank. It matches the current MacBook esthetic and is light weight yet durable. It has some other uses as well. I found my Maschine MK2 to fit perfectly. I will be buying a second one for this purpose.
