The gold mStand Laptop Stand from Rain Design lifts your notebook 6″, so you can have a better viewing experience. This stand is compatible with most MacBooks, MacBook Pros, and laptops that have a depth under 10.3″. It positions the laptop’s display to eye level, improving your posture. With a tilt design, it angles the computer’s keyboard so you can still see and have access to the keys. To keep your desk organized, a cable outlet is on board. Furthermore, the mStand is constructed from a single piece of aluminum, which acts as a heat sink to cool your computer.

Well, it’s a stand for a laptop. Not much to say. I use my 16 macbook pro on this, and the stand is quite sturdy and makes typing more comfortable. It’s worth the extra cost IMO — the mStand is well-made and won’t flex as you type.

This stand improves the seating position at once! I use it with my 13 Macbook Pro (retina) and the display is now in a natural position. The keyboard slant allows for a comfortable arm position. It works so great, I got another one for my spouse who absolutely loves that stand. For the tall guys out there: I am 6’6 and my spouse is 6’0, and this stand is way cheaper than the massage therapist needed when working on the laptop on a flat surface.

Love this stand! At first I was a bit skeptical, especially given the price but it is worth every penny. I love being able to elevate my laptop to an appropriate height and to be able to have extra space on my desk for my keyboard and mouse. Love this – highly recommend if you’re on the fence. It looks super sleek, and helps even my back from arching over my desk to stare at my screen. Its also really sturdy!

I purchased this MStand for use with a 13 Macbook Pro. The stand is very sturdy and actually helps minimize the risk of spilled coffee on keyboard. As to the ‘angle’ of the screen; I have an XGEAR shadow cover (which limits opening a bit) and I am 6′, The screen is about perfect. I can see under circumstances of taller people may wish a greater angle. It is possible to slightly bend the MStand (hard, but can be done). I can see no reason of those under 6′ having a problem about screen angle. It will also be without saying that you should rely on a mouse and additional keyboard as the raised level of computer makes it ergonomically unfeasible to use tracpad and computer keyboard. Please bear in mind, I believe the stand size is larger for 15 and 17 computers. Therefore, reviews will be applicable for the size of computer. My stand is perfect for 11 and 13 computers.

Does what is says, great metal build with adding to not scratch your divide. It lifts up your computer by around 6 inches, but add that with the tilted angle of the screen it feels like a lot more. I use to mount the laptop as a secondary display.

I wish I had gotten this years ago! It really puts my neck and shoulders in a much better position. If you are just putting a laptop on a desk, you are straining muscles. Get this – it helps! The fact that it is not adjustable is not a problem for me. It raises the screen up much closer to your eye level and the tilt on the keyboard seems just right. Your arms/hands have to go up higher, which isn’t ideal, but there’s no getting around that with a laptop. The main thing is that it puts your head/neck/shoulders in a more comfortable position. This stand seems very sturdy and it’s a good match to the macbooks in color and material.

As I work editing videos on my macbook pro at desk level, I have feeling back pain. With this stand, my macbook pro stays just at my eye level, hope I get a better posture now. The product is one solid well constructed piece, I recommend it for all those who spend many hours using laptops. The only downside is that I have to hold my macbook pro retina 15 with both hands when I’m opening it to use.

This really propped up my laptop so that it was at a comfortable position for typing and seeing my screen. I do not have an external Monitor so wanted some space underneath for a keyboard if I did not want to use the laptop keyboard and this was perfect! I also was able to add an external USB hub underneath since space is ample under this and really cleared my limited desk space! Highly Recommend for any laptop brand!

All of these reviews are dead on. It’s dead simple, sits at the right height next to my other monitor, and looks great on the desk. 100% recommend.

Nice stable laptop stand. Made with Apple’s aluminum laptops in mind. Rubberized lips at the bottom work great to make sure your machine doesn’t slide off. the only reason I didn’t give it a five-star review is that for some people it’s somewhat feature poor. But It does everything it promises. Stable enough that I can even type on the machine if I needed to, but I use a separate keyboard.

This is a nice looking, sturdy laptop stand. It matched perfectly with my MacbookPro 15 space gray color. I am happy with my purchase but there are two things I wish to be improved. First, the front lip holding the laptop is not robust enough. My laptop slipped and fell to ground (about 4 feet drop). Luckily it didn’t damage the laptop. I wish the front lip has a concave shape to hold the laptop more securely to avoid slippage. Second, the material is nice but it could scratch laptop easily. I wish that it has more rubber protectors at the top end and center locations to prevent laptop scratch. Otherwise, it is a great accessary to raise laptop to a comfortable level for video conferencing and sturdy enough to type for an extended period.

Why I love it: – ergonimically the correct height – room for a separate keyboard – holes for cables if you haven’t gone completely wireless – more durable than plastic – space safer in a small cubicle – it has grip so the laptop stays put – compliments a Mac or Windows laptop What I wish: – it was available in other metal finishes – it was available in black Pick any office furniture manufacturer (Herman Miller, Haworth etc.) to research complimenting colors/finishes.
