   Using the mount and Tab S3 to control a Sony A7RIII. RAM mount cradle and articulated arm attached to the tripod give me many options on how to position the tablet and review shots as they are made. The cradle easily hands the Tab S3 with the Samsung keyboard attached.

   RAM does make some very substantial gear, no doubt. There is a very high price premium for their mounts versus the cheapy mount alternatives. I bought this to replace an ancient iPad 2 mount with my new 11 iPad Pro and it fits well. I feel like this mount is still more $$$ than it should be, but it is a quality product. My only functional gripe with this mount is that the two ends are semi-fixed in place with screws and thus are fairly useless if you want to nestle your tablet on all 4 sides. A better design would have had all 4 sides expand with the spring mechanism that only works on 2 sides with this design. As long as you don’t *need* the tablet to be snug on all 4 sides, it should be fine. Personally I use this to attach to a mic stand for doing voice-over work, so it’s not a big deal, but if you were using this in a vehicle, you’d probably want to have it snug on all sides.

   Bought this to use my iPad on my bike in the trainer, works great as ALL Ram products do. No wobble at all.
