I can only think of “Pros” and there are no “Cons”.

I have had many of these types of emergency kits over the years and this one is a good one. I especially like the the flashlight/compass/radio that doesn’t need batteries.

The backpack came loaded with items to be used in an emergency situation, as advertized. I tried the crank-up power station and the flash light and radio worked well. Actually, while I am not looking forward to experiencing an emergency situation when I would need to use the kit, I believe it would serve me well.

I have a pretty good emergency kit I have cobbled together over the years. I’m big into emergency preparedness (NOT doomsday prepper type, but reasonable expectation type), and have some storage and rotate my supplies regularly. When this kit came up on sale, I was prompted to buy it to share some of the items between my other kit, and I have to say, it’s worth the price even if it weren’t on sale. In fact I wish I had bought two.I especially like the water pouches. They are sturdy and take little space. They aren’t bulky like a bottle, and have a good shelf life. The emergency rations really are just for a dire emergency, but food is food when you’re in a disaster. You can always buy some MREs to supplement your stash. I will be adding a chemical stove like I have in my other kits. The combo flashlight /radio is a great addition that also will give an emergency charge for your cell phone. It’s definitely worthwhile to get this. The only negative I can think of is the first aid kit is fairly anemic. In an emergency you’re going to need more than a few bandaids and antibiotic ointment. Other than that, I don’t think you could go wrong with this purchase.

This is a great way to be prepared for any emergency and know that you have the necessary supplies on hand in one place. The total package is invaluable. Thanks.

Tough to rate the stuff inside as I haven’t opened it nor do I ever hope too! The back pack is pretty weak for what you pay. May be better to open pack and transfer to a real bag but don’t want the stuff to start spoiling. The shipping and time frame were great as always with Home Depot! Like to see the crank radio etc. have to see it in action before I fully recommend this product.

The items in the backpack are impressive. The backpack itself could use improvement. ONE OF THE MAIN ZIPPERS IS ALREADY MISSING THE HEAD! I would recommend it because of content

Good product other than plastic water bottle a nice single wall thermos would be better. Good for car but if humping or shtf unpack and repack in a way better bag that is not red and marked to blend in. Good starter though or too give to a kid or friend etc.

Nice kit to keep in the car. Unlike other kits this one has personal hygiene gear as well. IMO a little overpriced at full retail.

The Grab”n Go 2 person Backpack is a great value and a quality product. My Wife had been looking for a kit like this and the ones she found were all over a $100.00 so she was very impressed when I found this one.

I was surprised at how many different things were in such a small bag. I’m buying two more for my daughters.

This go bag is a great place to start your preparedness. Once you have it, you can make some adjustments to personalize your kit. Although you can buy each of the included items on your own, most people wouldn’t, so it’s a good idea to buy this and build on it. The price was right.

This is for emergency situations and should not be used for every day use. Everything is carefully packed in a very small package so it is easy to grab and go when you need it.

I’d been contemplating putting together an emergency/earthquake kit for my mom…then came a Home Depot email promotion and I jumped on it. The kit contained everything I wanted and then some. At first it seemed expensive but I realized that putting together these items on my own (if I ever got around to it) would cost the same or more, even at Home Depot prices. This is in a backpack, already assembled. Sometimes it makes sense to buy rather than make something, and this important-but-not urgent need was one of them.
