Good for price and decent to start a kit. Bag sucks of course don’t use for a shtf or even camping maybe give to your kid for school. Basically take it all out add other things to it and repack into something else

Most of the water packets that were included in my kit had leaks and got all over the inside of the bag, and the bag is NOT waterproof at all… I would NOT recommend getting these types of water pouches. The crank radio flashlight combo is pretty nice, and the shovel is pretty sturdy. Most of the items, I could of gotten a lot cheaper had I done it piece by piece. Hind sight is 20/20…live and learn!

OK Folks, it is Oregon’s winter time. Any Oregonian (as well as other states, especially in “Tornado Alley”) knows that we often have wind storms, power outages, road closures, floods, and tornadoes (although very rare here). I bought a similar kit a few years ago and have used it once about a year ago. This is a necessary, if not required in some areas, survival kit. Don’t be caught unprepared! I belong to the local C.E.R.T. (Community Emergency Response Team) organization and this is the basic survival kit that I would recommend to my friends, relatives, and anyone else that I can talk to about being prepared in case of an emergency.
