We purchased this to start our emergency preparedness kit. The back pack is not waterproof, but has the basic you may need in an emergency. We are not exactly sure about the food included, it has a 5 year shelf life. The multi tool was broken. The ponchos are very thin but better than nothing. This is what we started with and have upgraded to a more comprehensive kit.

Great product it has four of most everything but lacks in four gloves medical kit has no eye wash needs to be added too. Unpack out this bright red bag and use a way better bag something to blend in that is not broadcasting “Ready America” all on the front.

As described, purchased for those potential emergency situations while “on the road” traveling. The bonus is that everything is tucked into a sturdy back pack. Would purchase again (but hope I would not need to!!)

This is super loaded with everything you need in an emergency situauton for you car or outdoors! But if you have a bad back or can handle weight CAUTION this thing is super heavy, but worth every penny!

Contains basic items for an emegrency, good starter kit. Good to add to a kit with additional water and food. Purchased as “give-away” for National Preparedness Month.

Seeing as how I have been fortunate enough to have not used it yet, my review will be on my overall opinion of how I think it might work. I added a few items I thought might be useful and took out some that I thought were overkill. Either way, I have piece of mind that I will be ready to clear out with my family in the event of an emergency.

This is a great product to help out families in time of an emergency situation when they may need the Go Kit.

This is a great starter emergency kit. Everything listed came with it. I saw a review on this product that said the main zipper was less than heavy duty and I agree. I went through the kit and put first aid items along with an existing kit that I’d already had. The ponchos are a bit chintzy but usable temporarily. It can easily be broken down to augment existing go-bags.

I just wanted this as a basic emergency bug-out kit. It was easier than building my own and has the basics. I am going to add some first aid, disposable lighters and a few other items but this was a starter kit. Decent value for the money.

It arrived in a timely fashion.I bought this because we live in a area that has severe weather conditions pretty much year round.

This is a nice product with most items you would need in an emergency. My only draw back is the weight of the bag. I don’t think there is any way around that as the pack is for four people.
