I held off on writing the review till 8 months after I applied this high gloss wood restorer to my whole house. After 8 months, the floors still look like I have just refinished the hardwood floors! I have high traffic in my house so I am impressed! Applying it with the microfiber and a sponge mop is so easy! Cleaning beforehand is the hard work. Learning from my mistakes, here are some hints which hopefully are helpful: 1. Vacuum the floors REALLY well before applying this product; use the rejuvenate cleaner to mop because it does not leave residue like other products; and then run a Swiffer sweeper dry cloth over all the floor to pickup any dust, especially if you have shedding pets. This is the most painful step, but worth the results. 2. Use the microfiber cloth as recommended; paper towels are a disaster to use. 3. Never try to retouch a missed spot after the initial application; let it go….because I have a blotchy area as a result. I will re-do when I apply to the whole house again before I sell it. 4. I found that re-applying to floors after the recommended 24 hours causes streaks. But in the areas where I re-applied after a many weeks, they turned out great. You really don’t need more than 1 layer, but resist re-applying. Other than these pointers, the product is great value for the money. Spending a few hundreds saved me thousands in refinishing floors and I have scratching pet nails which leave grooves in the hardwood. Not surprising, because it is made in the USA!

I have used this product for years with excellent results. We first tried it to add a nice polish to the wood floor while our home was on the market. Since then we have used this on our floors and reapply about every 12 months. This sized bottle is enough for me to do the roughly 800-1000sq. ft. wood on the main floor. The results are stunning and the application is easy- just make sure you keep traffic off for the stated times and work in sections per directions.

I own a two family house that was built in 1924 and has hardwood floors throughout. I have been here for the past 7 years and the floors have never been redone in any way other than being cleaned in various ways. When my tenants moved out a bit early and the apartment was completely empty, I had a week until the new ones moved in, so I figured I’d give this product a try and freshen up the floors. I knew not to expect wonders or new quality floors, but I was still hopeful.Let me just say that I am very extremely happy with the results! The hardest part was cleaning the floors prior to the application. I mopped the floors with another product that I already had in the house. I did apply extra elbow grease when mopping to make sure the hardwood floors are thoroughly cleaned. After they dried off, I applied the Rejuvenate Floor restorer as recommended and let it dry overnight. The application was super easy and it only required to pour some of the liquid out straight on the floors in small curved splashes and then spread it out evenly using a microfiber mop. The liquid is milky white in color but spreads out clear. Rubbing-it-in was not necessary and it spread out easily making the floors look wet and shiny.I came back 24 hours later and was wowed with the results. Before, my old floors looked very used up and had scuffs and scratches and a faded-out look. The hardwood floors look great now! They have a freshly finished look to them as if I had them professionally done – really! They don’t look brand-spanking-new, but definitely much better than before. Granted the deep scratches did not go away and the gaps in the old hardwood floors are still there, but the surface looks fresh, clean and shiny now! I did get the High Gloss finish and I like it a lot! There is also a matte version of this product available for those with matte floors. Again, the product did not fill in the cracks and gaps in floors and did not get rid of deep scratches, but it helped smooth them out and freshened up the surface with a nice glossy look. It is a bit hard to see the difference in the photos that I posted since the camera doesn’t capture it well. But I tried to do good before and after of the same areas.A second coat is recommended but not required. I only applied a single coat onto about 1,200 sqft. And still have a third of the gallon left. The product did not make the floors feel any different. There is no waxy, sticky or slippery feel to it after the application. Because it’s a big container with a regular small cap on it, it poured out on splashes. I wish there was some sort of a spout to pour out the liquid easier without it splashing on the floor or pouring out too much. But not a big deal if done carefully and spread out right away.

Great product! Leaves floors as if I had put a new coat of polyurethane on them. Perfect amount of shine- not too glossy- it’s like a light semi gloss. This product saved me hundreds of dollars , if not thousands. My hardwood floor specialist didn’t know about this product and said it might put him out of business. Very easy And quick application. Use at least two coats for best protection and shine. Buy the the microfiber cover (inexpensive) to put over a mop and apply.

After 20 years of basic wear on our originally glossy wood floors, we were looking for something to bring the gloss back. I selected the High Gloss Floor Restorer in an effort to do that. After reading the instructions I learned that this is not just a mop on or wipe on finish refresher but instead adds a new, permanent, glossy finish. Since I wasn’t sure I wanted to make that kind of commitment, I tried a small area in the corner.This product does in fact provide a very glossy, easy to apply finish with a minimal amount of preparation. Like any other permanent finish, following the instructions is critical for the best possible results.
