Chewed the teeth right off the blade when cutting furring strips to install recessed lighting. Excellent for drywall, and very occasional use for wood. I was cutting holes for 8 recessed cans and came across furring strips for half of them. Chewed the teeth off the blade halfway through the first one. Like the small width of the blade though. Fits in tight spots where more aggressive blades didn’t fit.

This is a great multi tool blade. The offset configuration allows easy flush cuts against a flat surface. I used it to cut wallboard, lathe and trim flush against a finished hardwood floor with ease and no damage to floor finish (with a piece of painter blue masking tape to prevent scratching). Mounts right or left handed for versatility. Definite plus accessory for your multi tool collection.

Replaced door trim. Had to widen floor trim. With this in was able to cut through base shoe/trim in place right on top of tile floor.

Perfect for unusual situations. Not really good for everyday use bc you’ll want that sharp edge for those unusual situations.

I chose to use this small blade while working on some hardwood plugs that needed to be trimmed. What I found was that the blade heated up a lot, causing smoke. I switched to a wider blade, i.e. 2″ wide – and got very little smoke. I think I chose the wrong blade.

Just be sure you are not cutting buried screws or nails, this smaller blade is the best wood blade I have used. Highly recommend

Works well for the somewhat narrow cuts it is designed for, including plunge cuts.
