I have been using my planer on everything from white oak and treated deck boards to mahogany and redwood with great results. Blade changes are easy and the vacuum system clears most of chips away. The repeatability is better than some friend’s more expensive machines.

I’m not sure what everyone is talking about, saying the blades don’t fit. I was in a bind and had to try despite all the reviews, and they went in just fine. The edges however must have been over hardened or something because with just a few passes of only taking 1/32 off of pine, I was already getting the tell tale signs that the blades were already chipped. For $35 I expected A LOT more but hey, I will be able to finish my order now
