Nice having a bigger battery for all my interchangable rigid cordless products

Lasts a long time but remember it also takes forever to recharge.

Very persnickety to operate. AND SPEND A WEEK TRYING TO GET IT REGISTERED, so I said screw it, returned as defective… DON’T PURCHASE.

The charger and battery work well. On a full charge I was able to use grinder for about an hour. My only frustration is that I bought this rigid grinder because i thought I could use the batteries from my other rigid tools. But- this OCTANE battery was necessary for the tool to work for more than 3 minutes at a time. And the cost of the battery and charger is quite high (much more than the tool itself).

This battery is a beast, lasts forever but also is very heavy. I bought this to use in my heavy draw tools like my vacuum and blower, I can’t imagine using it with an impact or drill driver but that’s just my opinion

The 9 Ah battery is kind of weird. It is considerably heavier than the 6 Ah battery and, as I’ve experienced when using it, it puts the Ridgid tools I use, except the Jobsite blower, out of balance, especially the light-weight subcompact line of 18v tools I use almost daily. But it has it’s uses. One is to give the Jobsite blower a sufficiently long runtime to get some serious work done, like gathering leaves for mulching (easy), or raking (Ugh) or blowing debris out of gutters or accumulated dust out of fans and heaters. The 9 Ah battery, fully charged, keeps this tool at the ready for anything you might think to use it for.Another use is the one I bought this battery for: powering the LED lights I string around my pop-up gazebo when I’m camping, or for powering the Ridgid portable fan all night long in our tent.To power the LED lights, I use the Ridgid USB power supply specially designed to use with Ridgid batteries. It has an 8 hour shut-off timer built in which makes it useful for shutting off the LED lights at sunrise, if you “set” the timer 8 hours before sunrise by disconnecting the power source from the battery, then reconnecting it and pressing the activate button. Also, a 9 Ah battery will power the fan all night long and well into the morning (I recharge it off my vehicle battery using an inverter). For that dual purpose, I have acquired two of these weird batteries – one through a close-out sale at a store and the other through this special offer. The battery charger finds its use in the tool kit I use during my day-job to keep the several 2 Ah batteries I use charged.Look, just to get the 9 Ah battery, which is quite expensive when sold separately, makes this purchase worth the cost, which was much cheaper than the battery and charger when sold separately. So, keep your attention focused on the daily deals and on the exclusive offers if you think one of these batteries will be useful for you. Otherwise stick with the 6, 4 or 2 Ah batteries: they will be sufficient for most everything you will use a Ridgid tool for.

The 9 amp Hr Battery is great for vacuums or any tools you need to work with for long periods of time.

Purchased this kit for use in the RIDGID 3 gal wet dry vac. Although large, it fit without any room to spare. The battery door barely closed. However, this battery kept it running for a while. I didn’t perform any time tests, but over a 4hr job with many starts and stops, this battery provided power.

great deal!

Great Batteries I have one for all of my Ridgid power tools.

We boondock camp and we bought this 9ah battery for our fan. The fan runs on highest setting all night and only drains to half charged. Will fit most tools but may not fit the battery powered skill saw.

Great battery & charger.Bought them on sale together and saved $100!Can’t beat Ridgid quality or lifetime guarantee.

Great batteries. They are the only ones i use on my grinder, sawzall, and circular saw. The others don’t have enough power. They did not come with the lifetime warranty though. Huge let down.
