The battery I got seems to be defective, the fuel gauge doesn’t work, and the Bluetooth also doesn’t work… And I’m getting the run around from Ridgid while trying to get it warrantied out. I’ve gotten two full charge cycles out of the battery the day I got it because I had to run a drain snake through both of the toilets twice in my house. Honestly the 6ah battery lasted longer. However the fast charger is a great leap forward in charge time. It’s kind of what’s saving this purchases star rating, it charges the 3ah and 6ah batteries I have much faster than the standard charger. I primarily bought this combo so I could run my cordless belt sander longer (when needed) but currently the battery fails to do that. But the fast charger and the two other batteries are currently enough to keep the few Ridgid tools I have running.

Battery is great and not as heavy as I would have expected. Have not gotten a full charge use out of it yet. The Bluetooth feature is dumb. The app required access to your location at all times so I never set it up.

These batteries are great. I use a lot of Milwaukee tools but they don’t gave a vacuum like the 9 gallon Ridgid cordless. Milwaukee also makes 9.0 and 12.0 batteries. This 9.0 Octane is the largest that Ridgid makes and I wanted to get two of them for the vacuum. Cause, you know, a cordless vacuum would run longer with two vs one of these. They charge pretty quickly. Now if I ever get some heavy duty tools from Ridgid I am all set for batteries. I found these on sale as well. The price was normally $398 for a set of two. I paid $199 total for the 2 pack.

The rigid 9.0Ah lithium battery is very good with the vacuum connected but while in use you have to be mindful of continuous use and battery life if you only have one battery. You can go from a full orange bar to one bar within 30-40min continuous use so I keep in mind to cut off the power back and forward since I have on battery and I’m moving through the car. But it is definitely a need for a second battery to last depending on you type of work but I detail cars so two batteries is a must.
