The heat gun preforms great. It heats up quick and maintains temperature. The only draw back is how close you need to hold it to the work piece.

I use my 1/2 inch drill for turning my ice auger out fishing. I have plenty of batteries already, but they are all 2,3 or 4 AH, and are several years old. When very cold, they could not provide enough current to give full torque from the drill. This is no longer an issue with the new battery. As a side benefit, I can go 2-3 days of fishing between charges, which will reduce the number of cycles on the battery, which should make it last the rest of my life. If it does not, there is always the LSA, so I am covered either way. Very much recommended for ice fishing use!
