I love having the extra power storage however I bought this primarily to use with the circular saw. To make this fit you have to move the saw table down to accommodate the thick battery leaving less depth in cutting capability.

Rigid calls it a ‘portable power source’, but it’s really a battery adapter, with zero power until you mount it on a Rigid battery. We got it trying to get power to the Rigid roll-up light panel. The panel looked like a great idea, we could slide it under a car when working on it, but it didn’t come with this adapter, and every source we tried, including looking at the box the light came in AND calling Rigid, provided a different part number! It seems Rigid has multiple versions of this ‘power source’ and we failed at finding the correct one. Out of frustration we returned both the light and all the adapters. Rigid has now done everything possible to bury that light on their web site, and may have discontinued the correct adapter.
