Great batteries and at a great price so had to snag them. I mainly use these for my 18V fan and it will last a full workday on full blast and still have 2 bars left.

With regard to cordless tools: as amp hour ratings increase, so too does the weight and the girth of the batteries. Ridgid tool batteries afford powerful alternatives to the extension cord. Just be prepared for the increase in size for the luxury of increased power. The differences between the ridgid 4 hour battery vs the 5 hour battery are significant, both for the longevity and increase in available power and in regard to the increased size of the 5 hour battery.I don’t know how the manufacturer determines the battery hour rating though it seems said battery must be attached to a tool that is running unimpeded, at idle so to speak. In every actual work scenario, utilizing many various tools by various manufacturers, I’ve yet to see any battery actually perform work for the length of time stated upon the respective battery. Or, actually anywhere even close. Buy accordingly and if you are going to be performing serious work then plan on obtaining spare batteries and even give serious consideration to purchasing additional chargers.Good luck.

I purchased these batteries since I needed longer power for my tools. I am throughly impressed by the difference in power! Everything I have used so far lasts much longer, with more power longer. Best purchase to date!

OEM batteries. By purchasing the twin pack, I saved a substantial amount. I now have one in the tool I am using and one charging. Always have power now.

I’ve had one go bad and not take a charge a couple years ago, but the other three I’ve owned over the years are great. They have a lot of power and last a long time.
