Great little charger. Charges batteries fast, and well built and durable. Wish it would charge both batteries at the same time instead of one at a time, but does charge them quick so its 4 stars. If ridgid would make a bank that holds 5-6 and can charge them together it would be amazing.

Not exactly what i was expecting for a dual charger. Yes it says it’s sequential, but think it should be able to charge faster than what it does. With that said, having the 2 usb ports and two additional 120v plug ins on the front are handy. With it being two bays, you can have a constant swap on batteries to the charger to keep going and not have to carry two chargers unless u want to string a single to this one, then u have three!

Received today. Was disappointed to find out “Sequential” charging is not what it does. Says it’s a dual charger on package, but has a note when you open it, stating can only charge one battery at a time. Yeah, it flips over and starts charging the second battery after the first is fully charged. But if you working on a project fast and need that second battery right away, your going to wait. On the plus you can charge your phone or something else with the AC outlet. But that’s not why I bought it. I was really looking forward to charging two batteries at the very same time. This item doesn’t do that. I would of been better off buying two new batteries with a free single charger and would of been same price. If I was you, that’s what I would do, if you need a second charger. I’ll keep it I reckon, but it defeats the purpose. Why call it a dual charger when one batter charges, and the second sits and waits till the first one is done. That’s what the single battery charger does.
