Came with box destroyed . The stand was not damaged but come on now . After assembly I like the stand . Simple lever release that is better than cable . You must be careful when lowering , it could come down to fast and hard if saw is mounted with weight of saw on the far end .

This stand is incredible. Unbelievably sturdy. I was able to easily mount my Admiral 12″ miter saw with no issues or having to make an adapter. Now I can wheel the saw around like it weighs nothing. It rolls up stairs very easy too, thanks to the large wheels. I highly recommend.

Very heavy duty and well built. I have two Makita stands and this one is heads and tails above those. Love the bigger wheels and extended platform when you have it in the stand up position. Makes it very stable. When my smaller stands are in the storage, upright position, I find them to be “top heavy” and am always worried about them tipping over forward. Best deal ever, I have paid upwards of $200 for my smaller Makita brand ones. Got this one on sale for $129. Cant go wrong at that price even if you only use it occasionally. I use mine with my Evolution saws for cutting metal and love the stability and solid base it provides while cutting.

Opens and closes extremely well. Allows me to move saw out of the way when I need to use other tools. My only issue is that if I want to make a lot of same cuts, the ends are not square and causes my pieces to have a diag cut and not be at the correct size.

Great saw. Alot of options and the truly the industry leader for 70 degree cuts. The stand i got for it is beefed up to handle the abuse. Highly recommend but you better do some arms -pulls to load it.

I am very pleased with the RIDGID Universal Mobile Miter Saw Stand with Mounting Braces. It is well built and heavy duty. It is easy to operate – easy open and close with a tap on the foot pedal. Even with a heavy miter saw attached, the scissor design makes it a breeze to position in the up or closed position without any heavy lifting or maneuvering. It locks easily in place. My Dewalt 12″ miter saw is mounted to it – like lifting a feather. When in the closed position it can be moved around on the large wheels much like a hand truck and can be stored in the upright position (with miter saw attached) safely and easily. The extendable braces on each side can slide out a lot to support a 14 -16 foot board and the supports can adjust up or down to be perfectly flush with the surface of your miter saw.

I bought this stand for my 10in metabo sliding compound miter saw. I use my miter frequently for various outdoor projects so I’m constantly moving it to wherever the project is. This is the only stand with adequately-sized wheels and it’s solid as a rock. The fact that I can collapse it and store the miter on the stand is a major bonus as well! No complaints so far.
