Worked as expected. Lived up to YouTube reviews. Plenty of power. Never slowed down, not even on large pieces. (Wood) Downside: Needs a place to store stop (The thing that keeps the wood from flying off).

The belt sander and the spindle sander both do an excellent job. The amount of time saved using the sander and the quality of the final product make it worth every penny of the cost.

I had one in my old workshop. Great tool form my needs. It takes the same belts as you portable sander. (4×24″). I use it regularly.

This sander worked good for my projects. I was able to sand 2 pieces of 2 x stacked so both pieces matched.it does make a lot of dust

Works well. Leaves quite a bit of dust on the table.

Great tool. Belt sander oscillates a little to high for 1/4″ material flat on the deck though.
Nya Casper (verified owner) –
Works well as long as you have enough tension on the sanding belt

Had my eye on this for a while, it is a highly reviewed piece of equipment. Seeing it on sale was a no-brainer purchase. Nice addition to my shop – it makes sanding a breeze. Set up was a little difficult due to trying to get the plastic alignment piece on the belt attachment to slot into place.I have mainly used the belt sander attachement. It easily sands the saw marks off wood cut on my bandsaw.

This tool gets used for just about every woodworking project I do!

Easy to set up, works well. Does what it claims. No complaints. I see some folks say they can’t find parts…2 minutes on google and I found all the parts claimed to be unavailable. Support site is garbage. I get an inexplicable, totally generic error when I try to sign up.

Seems like this could be great, but the plastic table insert is warped out of the box, with the center about a 16th of an inch lower than the edges, making it impossible to completely level. Either it’s going to rock one side out or the center is going to be way lower than the edges. If course it’s the weekend, so no answer at the Ridgid took free number, and there website if undergoing maintenance, so one can’t even try to register or get a replacement.
