These Ridgid kneepads have a good comfortable thick gel, which something I look for in a kneepad and the single velcro strap, is my favorite kind of strap for a kneepad, but so far the kneepads seem to roll the knee to a uncomfortable position sometimes and don’t seem to have good placement with the knee and the kneepad at the most important time, when on the floor working. It doesn’t seat well with the knee, and I apologize if I’m not making sense but anyways, also the face of the kneepad has some type of material that is cloth like and not strong at all, and after a couple hours of use the material is coming off and torn. It’s my opinion a good kneepad that holds tuff to everyday user is hard to come by it seems like these days. They’re good at first but wear out to fast. A good kneepad at my local homedepot is usually your most expensive ones, with a cost of ( $45-50 ) and for that amount of money the kneepad will usually only last me few months. These Husky kneepads are so far doing ok. The cost for them was Very good at ($15) Now if they can last me atleast a few months of my normal work day then they will have my attention and I’d consider changing my rating.Good gel or foam padding is the #1 thing to me. But I’m usually disappointed by their inability to hold up their gel or foam padding comfort. The #2 thing is a good single strap, that’s got good grip to stay in place and comfortable for hours of daily use. The face of the kneepad should have a tuff material to protect the knees and protect the padding. If you make a kneepad like that I’ll buy it, These were a value for the cost but they’re a trial run to see how good they and to see if I’d buy them again.

THEY ARE OK THEY COULD SEW ON THE HOOK SIDE OF THE VELCRO OR BOTH SIDES THAT IS THE ONLY REASON I BOUGHT A SECOND PAIR ALSO I’M A RIDGID TOOL GUY. ALSO I DO WEAR THEM EVERY DAY FOR THE PAST 6 MONTHES THE PADS DID NOT WEAR OUT TO BAD COULD GO ANOTHER 6 MONTH ONCE I FIX THE VELCRO PROBLEM. ONE YEAR FOR AN AVERAGE $20.00 IS A GREAT PRICE…………….

The pointed tips last long. The grip could be a bit more comfortable though. Much safer it seems, than using a razor knife!

An awesome pair of knee pads! Soft fluffy clouds of cushy gel padding cuddle you’re knees into believing they are floating in a crystal clear tropical lagoon of comfort. Strong and rugged bindings to hold them firmly in place with the strength similar to flexible Nordic tapestry not encountered in the eons since the North Atlantic gales blew these rugged people to the very precipice of their doom. I’m so pleased with the quality of these knee pads! Thanks Rigid, Valhalla awaits my tile laying presence!

Padding pretty good. Leg straps seemed kind of short. Might be ok if you don’t wear over jeans.1

This blade scores the James Hardie backerboard OK. I don’t know about others, but I find it very hard to break the cement board even after spending quite some energy scoring the board both side using this tool. I ended up using the handheld tool with carbide blade.

Really durable. Great product, for a guy with a horrible right knee these pads are a dream come true while I’m working.
Merl Ratke (verified owner) –
Comfortable most of all bc the straps don’t restrict blood flow

I was skeptical but I went ahead and bought it and now I’m a fan. No dust from cutting with a saw and it scores pretty deep with the right amount of pressure.

Comfortable but the the type of work I do requires better straps. I highly recommend them though and thank the employee who pointed them out.
