Works great on softer wood trim but a little hesitant to use it on the oak.

Took me a little while to get precise cuts, I found out I needed to make sure the quarter round is square on the fence. Used it today and saved countless trips to the miter saw, I had to set up my miter saw inside the garage back and forth long trips, I started using the cutters as soon as I received them from the delivery truck. It cuts through 3/4″ quarter round like butter, I made about 75- 100 cuts so far blade is still sharp. Happy with this cutter so far.

Pretty handy … convenient

Did the job on composite shoe molding. Didn’t try on wood. Capacity not quite .75 inch. Only fits shoe molding because of the curved profile. Difficult to hold the material against the fence and squeeze at the same time.

I used this to put down trim and it was great..

This tool was as advertised. Easy to use. Cuts were good, but not great. Will have to use caulk to hide the minor inaccuracies.

Saved countless trips to the miter saw. I was hesitant because i like my stuff perfect. I boight them and tried them in my own house first. If your molding is getting caulked and painted these are the only way to go. For stained trim i would probably use my miter saw and cope everything still.

And they’ve been great. Not as clean a cut as my miter saw, but more than adequate and a helluva a lot faster. I picked them up on clearance for less than 20 bucks, but after using them I’d gladly have paid full price.

How to change the shoe molding ridgid cutter blade

Excellent!!! This tool is a must have if you are installing quarter-round shoe molding. I just finished my entire basement. Imagine not having to get up and walk to your saw for each cut. With this cutter you don’t need a saw and you just slide around the room making the necessary cuts as you go. My thanks to the guy who invented it!

would of been better if there were instructions on how to install

The blade didn’t last long. I barely cut quarter rounds for one 11×12 room and blade was chipping
