I had an old black rubber mallet laying around, but when I went to install 1250 sq ft of LVP, I decided to upgrade to this mallet. It proved to be a wise decision. The handle is comfortable, the ‘deadhead’ really worked, and I even liked the flat top so you could stand it up when not in use. It never left a mark anywhere. It did flake off bits of rubber from the edges, caused by hammering on a small tapping block, but it wasn’t at all excessive and in no way did any damage that has affected the performance of the mallet. Highly recommended!

great product but the only this is the worst is your company don’t have the product at home depot for customers to get the product need to have ridged spacers more available to customers

My last rubber mallet lost it’s head several times before giving up on it. This one is much more solidly constructed and the handle has a much better surface for gripping.

So I haven’t used the leveling system yet but I’ve heard good things I will let use know

Really enjoying this mallet. Most people probably think, a hammer is a hammer. But no, actually there are bad hammers, good hammers, then this hammer. I really love this hammer. It’s got a great solid feel to it, not a shabby piece of work. I enjoy using it daily. Holding up really well.

Excellent.Used with 12×24 porcelain tiles offset 1/3 for a shower wall. The finished product has no sign of lippage. The tabs are easy to remove as long as you don’t have excess thinset seeping out.

Exceptional in every use of the term. The handle is very comfortable, and the power of the blow is exceptional. I appreciate not have black rubber marks on a surface, if I miss my mark.Of perhaps 10 different rubber mallets of different sizes and weights, this one excels in every way. The versatility shines when using a light tap or a very decisive hard blow. I absolutely love it! My storage now went from 3 rubber mallets to just one incredibly nice one. As perfect as perfect can be!

After my son took my mallet for camping, I decided to buy another mallet. I love the Ridgid brand, so I bought this one. What can I say, it’s a mallet and it works.

I love this mallet. I used it to fix a few spots on our laminate flooring and wish I would have gotten this earlier. It is solid feeling and also comfortable to use. The mallet head has a large area so missed hits or off center hits are few. The rubber seems to be a higher quality material than the cheaper mallets I have used. For the price, you get a mallet that lasts a long time and is easy to use.

Not sure how you review a rubber mallet; it either works or it doesn’t. Well, the RIDGID 16 oz. Rubber Mallet is probably one of the nicest rubber mallets I have ever used.A mallet is typically just a wooden stick handle with a chunk of rubber on the end. The RIDGID mallet has white, non-marring head and a fiberglass handle. The fiberglass handle helps cut down on vibration. This may not be a problem for occasional use but if you are laying down rooms full of tile that vibration can take a toll on your arm. Not sure how they did it, but the mallet head does not bounce back like most do.This is a nice mallet at a competitive price. I recommend it.

Best rubber mallet I’ve ever used! This mallet is awesome. I love the handle. It is comfortably shaped. The handle material feels good in your hand. I like that the mallet is made out of a white rubber material. It doesn’t leave a mark on the material that you are striking. The hammer is 16 ounces, and it feels substantial without tiring you out. I think that it’s great for tiling, and I’m planning to use it whenever I have to install laminate flooring as well.
