NXT wet dry vac is sleeker than ever and was designed as a modern vac on the outside with amped up power and performance on the inside. The 4.25 peak horsepower motor and 9 Gal. drum size are perfect for home improvement projects and cleanup around the garage and shop. The large 1-7/8 in. diameter locking hose locks onto the vac so it wont pull loose during use and the added Dual-Flex feature resists collapsing and offers the mobility you need to reach tight places. This vac was built for comfort and convenience with an ergonomic front-to-back top carry handle, comfort grip drum carry handles and latches that securely seal the lid to the drum. Connect the hose to the blower port for added versatility and use for blowing leaves, grass clippings and more. This vac’s patented Qwik Lock Filter Fastening System makes installing or removing your filter quick, easy and secure. I would have like to have had a crevice tool included rather than it being an extra part that I have to purchase separately. I do like the size, the carrying handle and the weight. I also like the storage slots for the tubing.

Bought this a few weeks ago since I started a kitchen remodel and the workers don’t know how to clean up after themselves. This thing works great. The only negative is the power cord needs to be longer. I like the easy to remove filter. All in all I highly recommend this unit.

I like this new Ridgid wet/dry vac because it has a large capacity and it is light and easy to put together. It also has a lot of power. I have always had the Shop Vac brand, but I think I just changed to Ridgid permanently because the Ridgid accessories were also there for me to buy. I am going back to buy the micro cleaning attachments to get the small areas in my car and garage.

I bought this during Home Depot’s black November deals. I used it to clean up my garage and both interiors of my cars. The cord is plenty long, the attachments are useful and has yet to disappoint. My only nitpick is I think the house should be more flexible.
