The RIDGID 9 Gal. NXT wet/dry vac was designed as a modern vacuum on the outside with amped up power and performance on the inside. The 4.25 peak horsepower motor is great for home improvement projects and cleanup around the garage and shop. Its compact design requires minimal storage space in a garage or on a truck and was built for easy lifting and comfortable transport. For added versatility, connect the hose to the blower port and use for blowing leaves, grass clippings and more. The 1-1/4 in. to 1-7/8 in. crevice tool and dusting brush are ideal for cleaning vehicle interiors and delicate surfaces. Replacement filter VF4000 and Size B – VF3503 Dust Collection Bags sold separately.

I’m sure this is an excellent vacuum but I exchanged for the 12 gallon model. The reason I had to do this is because I am using it to clean my gutters and the pipes for the 9 gallon model is not compatible with the gutter cleaning attachment. Also the 12 gallon model was a few dollars cheaper so everything worked out really good for me.

I really like the fact that I can use these attachments with my new Rigid vac and my old vac with its 1.25″ diameter hose. Nice feature, since I really only needed the crevice tool for cleaning the car interior with my small vac. I’d like to see these items sold separately, since brushes wear out fairly often, but a crevice tool will last for many years.
