Use both of the included 18-Volt OCTANE Bluetooth 3.0 Ah High Capacity Batteries for up to 19-minutes of runtime. The 18-Volt 9 Gal. cordless wet/dry vac includes two 18-Volt OCTANE Bluetooth 3.0 Ah High Capacity Battery, an 18-Volt charger, a car nozzle, wet nozzle, utility nozzle, Dual-Flex hose and standard filter.

I’m seeing a lot of people complaining about the fact that the vacuum didn’t come with batteries. Ridgid states it does not come with batteries in the overview. It also states this on the box itself. I personally would not get it if I didn’t already have the batteries as they are very expensive. But if you already have at least one 6ah then it is definitely worth it. I’m getting 30 min with 6ah and 3ah. It easily cleaned my car and still had plenty of battery life left. Perfect for household use. It’s battery powered so don’t expect it to do hours of heavy industrial work.

Excellent! The is probably the best 18v cordless vacuum at Home Depot … Last year, I purchased several 9ah battery kits and were finally put them into use. I also registered for the LSA and it was approved within a week!

Lets be clear, this does not have the power of Ridgid’s plug in Wet/Dry Vac. I would say this unit has about half the power and a much smaller hose. With that being said, this thing is super convenient and beats any Dyson or any other consumer brand for hardwood floors. I have never had to go over a spot twice. They say you can get a half an hour of run time from one 9amp battery from continuous use. I’ve never use it for longer than 5 minutes a day and its been over a week since I bought this and the battery has 2/4 bars left. It’s a charger with a big drawback. All my power tools are makita. I pack around 15 5amp batteries at any one time. I bought this charger as I own a cordless ridgid vac. With the makita chargers it will play music or beep when the batteries are charged. This ridgid charger does nothing to let you know so you end up having to constantly go and see what it’s up to.

This are very good batteries. The Bluetooth function works well, but you have to remember there is a distance limit on them. If you not in range they will show that they are offline.

This is not amazing and not bad, just mediocre. It is better than the other battery operated Ridgid vacuum, and better than other I have seen, but not what I have come to expect from Ridgid. They are cutting some corners.

This cordless vac has 82 CFM, which is the highest I’ve seen in a cordless vac. Normally corded vacuums run on 13-15 amps which draw a lot of power. This is why you need a higher amp hour battery to run this for any length of time. I would rather have a vacuum with higher CFM to get the job done and over with, than have a lower powered vacuum, and spend more time trying to get up every little particle with more passes, hence more battery usage.

I havent used it. It didnt come with batteries, so I ordered those and the batteries didnt come with a charger- now the double charger is not available on homedepot.com so I will return it. By the time I am done with getting everything I need for this I will have $350 invested in a shop vac- so its going back.
