The RIDGID 12 Gal. NXT wet dry vac was built for pros ready to take their projects to the next level. Its redesigned scroll technology gives the RIDGID NXT vac a 19% increase performance. With more power, enhanced durability and an advanced design specifically engineered for the pro user, this high-performance vac is part of the most powerful line of wet dry vacs RIDGID has ever made. At 5.0 peak HP, this vac delivers the power required for tough cleanups. Its redesigned scroll technology gives this RIDGID NXT vac an increase in power, suction and lift. The 12 Gal. NXT vac includes the first ever 2-1/2 in. locking accessories that locks onto a wand or hose which means no downtime from attachments coming apart. This vac features our patented Qwik Lock Filter that makes installing or removing your filter quick, easy and secure. The RIDGID OSHA + HEPA Filtration Kit helps you achieve maximum level filtration to keep your working space clean of fine dust particles. Replacement filter VF4000, VF6000, and Size A VF3502 dust collection bags sold separately.

- Kit is OSHA silica table 1 compatible when used with select RIDGID vacs 12 Gal. to 16 Gal. and hand-held power saws for cutting fiber cement-board (with blade/wheel diameter of 4 in. or less) and handheld grinders for mortar removal (i.e. tuck-pointing) and uses other than mortal removal
- For OSHA silica table 1 compatibility, employer/user must confirm that the airflow requirements as specified by the tool manufacturer are satisfied by the airflow rate from the RIDGID vacuum, all select vacs provide a minimum of 100 CFM
- For OSHA silica table 1 compatibility, employer/user must check the grinding wheel diameter when selecting a RIDGID wet/dry vac to ensure 25 CFM per inch of wheel diameter criteria is met
- Peak horse power represents a level at or below the maximum horsepower output of an electric motor tested in a laboratory using a dynamometer
- Gallons indicated reflect drum volume, not necessarily collection capacity, actual capacity dependent upon type of debris collected, condition of filter and other factors

Replaced my old 16 gallon shop vac. This shop vac has plenty of power to pick up nails and make all the sawdust and other debris disappear. Great in the car also. Bought this yesterday to vacuum water in carpeting from a leak. Got it home only to discover you can’t vacuum up water without buying a $20 wet filter which is not included in box. Also bags to catch dry particles such as sawdust not included. Now need to make another run to the store.
