12 Gal. 6.0-Peak HP NXT Wet/Dry Vac with Detachable Blower made by RIDGIDI was in need of a shop vac for the garage and the house, so when the Home Depot Seeds Program offered this 12 Gallon 6.0 Peak HP Wet/Dry Vac I was all over it. I ordered it, and it was promptly shipped. Although the box was opened on one end (tampered with. Tape was cut), no items were damaged or missing.When I opened the box, all I could say was “WOW!” I was jumping for joy I was so blessed. First off, the product is all quality. The vacuum is very well made. The vacuum comes with two (2) extension wands, blower wand, car nozzle, utility nozzle, wet nozzle, a quick lock filter, filter bag, tug along positive locking hose with dual flex.The body of the vacuum is strong, and sturdy. There are four Caster Feet that are equipped with storage holders for the wands. Each Caster Foot has a wheel that is well protected. Assembly is simple as the feet lock into position and they are held in place by a simple Philips Screw that can be attached by screwdriver or through a drill with chuck AT LOW SPEEDS.On the back of the body, locks in the accessory caddy. This holds the nozzles and also a wand. The top which holds the motor assembly locks on the body with a strong seal. When the vacuum is turned on, the top sits down and the suction is absolutely the strongest I have ever seen! You can choose to use just the filter, or the filter with the filter bag. The bag is easy to install.The positive lock hoses are awesome! No need to worry about hoses coming apart. The lock tabs prevent this completely. AWESOME!The top also serves as a reversible blower unit. The Extension Wands easily lock into place and you attack the blower wand and you have a blower unit to clear out your garage or leaves on the walk. Awesome! You can also use it to dry up water on a concrete floor once you suck up all excess water. The chord is long and has a nice reach. It coils up on the side of the vacuum and does not interfere at all. The hose easily raps around the unit and is held in place easily.I am absolutely stoked over this vacuum. This is the best shop vac I have ever owned and I have no qualms in saying so! I highly recommend this vacuum. You will not be disappointed.The better part is that RIDGID offers a whole host of accessories, tubing, filters, and more for this model so you can customize to your needs. My floor care people have used the Ridgid 12 gal vac for a couple years. They use it to suck up wax stripper and wax off of a VCT floor. Although it needs to cleaned after every use, because the product dries and will clog everything, it never ever fails to deliver! Once a week, this vacuum takes a beating and comes back swinging. Besides the attachments shown, there are more available and at a reasonable price. Leaf blower? Can not wait to try that out.

Tired of paying hundreds of dollars to have your car detailed AND you’re not lazy??? This is the shop vac for you!!! I am extremely OCD so I would get my car detailed every 4-6 months…obviously this adds up. With everything that has recently been going on with COVID-19, my retailer had to close shop and cancel appointments. Well, I couldn’t just have a dirty car! So I researched and found this one to be highly recommended and it didn’t disappoint. I have dogs and you’d never be able to tell. The car kit it comes with is super handy and the suction is awesome. I couldn’t be happier with this vacuum.

High quality, does what you’d expect – picks up debris and water easily. Ordered this mainly for use in cleaning my car, and it came through with flying colors when I suddenly had an “emergency” of sorts – my trunk filled with water when my trunk lid was slightly ajar in a rainstorm. This wet dry vac pulled all the water that had pooled in there, even through the fabric lining. There was no other way I could have cleaned it out.Another nice touch is that it comes with a car-specific attachment, perfect for getting into the nooks and crannies between seats, where debris loves to collect.Of course, it also does a nice job picking up debris off of floors – made quick work of the stuff collected in my garage.The one thing I was a bit confused about was when to use the included filter bag. The manual says you can use this with “or instead” of the main cylindrical filter, without providing any more guidance other than you can’t use it with wet pickup. Maybe it’s just for when you want dry debris to be easily thrown away, but again, more information would be helpful.By the way, this vacuum does have a detachable blower feature, but it’s not something I tested or am particularly interested in. Seems like a slightly awkward shape for a blower.

I had another wet/vac that did not have the detachable blower. My whole purpose was to have a lightweight option for my son versus my backpack option. I thought this was actually detachable and did not need another wet/vac, but my existing one did not have a blower. Unfortunately, this one requires a cord to be plugged in and with that has limited reach. Great product overall!I am missing a few screws to attach the peripheral items.

This is a woman’s vacuum. The machine includes a bag and a filter. I have used the vacuum to clean my basement with the outside remaining very clean. No dust was spewed from the vacuum. The blower easily detaches for a relatively light weight leaf blower. Super versatile. Love it!!
