I can see how the bag could get ripped pressing the cardboard collar onto the inlet tube. I started by loosening the center punched area before sliding it on. I’m combining the two filters in a Ridgid HD1400 so that I cut down on my clean up. I’m hoping that the bag holds up to the debris I throw at it. I have had other brand bags explode during use in smaller vacs but it’s gotta be better then doing the clean up I’m used to with this one. Giving it four stars because of the potential of ripping the bag while attaching it to the inlet tube.

It’s a great machine, the suction is great. Need to get all the parts for it. I don’ the plan on using it as a wet vac, as I use a bag inside. But you never know if I’ll need the wet vac. Thankyou. Robert

I bought this unit for light car detailing and for rug vacuuming, expecting this thing to be alright but noisy and hard to maneuver.Man was I wrong, this vacuum may be quieter than your house vac! Its pretty powerful, but it does diminish a tiny bit after using it for awhile. BUT!After closer examination I did see that the harsh right angle on the inlet of the hose when it reaches the tub can have paper and other rubbish hang on to, and after clearing that, the suction power seemed to get much better. All in all its a great option, if a little spendy.

I also attach this to my miter saw and rotary saw almost daily and it does the job well (I purchased the attachment separately). Good way to keep the dust off the filter and vacuum as well.. the only downside is that the edges of the bags are not very reliable and sometimes they brake they need to reinforce the edges where the fold. Other then that.. Good. Or. One mere thing. They are way to expensive now… they are changing close to 20 dollars for 2. That is ridiculous but. So far i need them till i get different brand of vacuum the will not require any of this bags expenses
