At 6.0 peak horsepower, this vac delivers the power for heavy-duty pro cleanups. Its redesigned scroll technology gives the NXT vac an increase in power, suction, and lift. The 14 Gal. NXT vac includes the first ever 2-1/2 in. locking accessories that lock onto a wand or hose which means no downtime from attachments coming apart. The 2-1/2 in. diameter size resists clogs and makes cleaning large messes quick and easy. This large capacity vac features a 2-piece drum construction that offers the toughest RIDGID durability. Replacement filter VF4000, and Size A VF3502 dust collection bags sold separately.

Use for cleaning up woodworking tools.- Click lock attachments eliminates hose pull out- Good power-to-weight ratio- Good on-tool storage of attachmentsNegatives (minor)- Hose connections a bit sticky, but better than loose later on- Electrical cord storage could have better design, but adequate- Wheels could be better/larger: this is a common ailment of most products these daysThey replaced 3-layer filter with 1-layer because of Covid demand for the former. Included one bag with purchase. Have not used it, since I had too many wood shavings and it would have filled multiple bags. Overall happy with product. 5 stars since almost everything has a average rating of 4 stars.
