NXT wet/dry vac was built with RIDGID’s most powerful 6.5 peak horsepower motor, the 16 Gal. vacuum was engineered for the Pros with the toughest cleanups. This model includes a cart with large rear wheels and the accessories to equip the Pro for any job with 2 wands, a utility nozzle, car nozzle, wet nozzle, crevice tool and a muffler/diffuser. The drum offers maximum capacity at 16 Gal. and the 2-piece drum construction provides lasting durability. Storage is readily available on this model with accessory storage to secure tools on hand, added hooks to store the hose and caster feet that fit both 1-7/8 in. and 2-1/2 in. accessories. The 16 Gal. NXT wet/dry vac includes 2-1/2 in. locking accessories that lock onto a wand or hose which means no downtime from attachments coming apart. It features the patented Qwik Lock Filter Fastening System that makes installing or removing your filter quick, easy and secure. Replacement filter VF4000 and Size A VF3502 Dust Collection Bags sold separately.

As an owner of 3 working Ridgid shop vacs, and two dead ones, I’m a repeat customer obviously. So I’d love for Ridgid to scrap the useless black hose that comes with all of these machines and give us the orange heavy duty hose included without having to buy them separate. I’m not sure why I save them, but I must have 4-5 of those black plastic snakes stuck in the corner of my garage, coiled up, waiting to explode. And while you’re making changes Ridgid, how about standard size connections on ALL accessories and hoses! The tiny connection size on the heavy duty orange hose (accessory end) must have a reason, but I can’t think of one.

With the hepa-filtration practically no dust in the air. I am pleasantly surprised with this purchase.The only thing I would add would be a soft bristle attachment.
