I cut 3×6 glass tiles for my backsplash with a diamind blade for my first tile job. A bit of a learning curve and I liked the saw. Lightweight and easy to move.

I like the ridgid tile blades. They stay sharp longer than others I have used. I use mine in a tile wet so saw.

Nice cuts

Easy to install in my cutter. Cut glass tile very cleanly and efficiently. You need to proceed slowly at the end of the cut, or you will get splintering, but otherwise, what a great blade. Well worth the money.

It worked well even with 4.5 in cutting machine. It did the excellent work. I used it for cutting 1/4 inch glass tile of about 75ft. It still going well. Good values for the money.

The glass tile cutter works well. Make sure you use plenty of water when cutting and don’t force the cut.

First time ever cutting glass though I’ve broken more than my sure of glass products and windows:) I have a fairly large glass jug with a glass top that I use as a change and dollar bank. Well my 13yr old child seems to think it’s her bank to use whenever she wants. So after several times of her cleaning out the quarters, dollars and fives (yes I put larger bills in as well), I decided to seal up the glass top and cut a horizontal hole big enough to drop coins and bills into. It would also keep me from pilfering at times for beer money. I simply clamped down on the thick glass top with my sweatshirt between the clamp and glass. I clamped it pretty tight but was sure not to try to clamp too hard. I attached the diamond glass blade to the grinder, got a spray bottle full of water, and marked in permanent ink where I wanted the cut. It took about 15-20 minutes of constantly grinding then spraying and repeating over and over until I eventually got what I wanted. After cutting the hole, I used liquid nails to attach glass lid to jar but it DID NOT work well so eventually just duct taped everything (which has the added benefit of not allowing the inside of the jar to be vied) except the hole in the top of the glass lid. Project complete! Now, of course, the jar can always be picked up and run off with but I want it accessible to me not behind a safe as it wouldn’t be convenient to drop coins in there. I’ll update in about a year when it’s full on the amount and if I was able to keep it ‘safe.’:)

Cut a lot of 5/16 glass tile for kitchen back splash. Did the job but took a lot of time. I refreshed the blade several times with a wet stone. There some chips, usually at the end of a cut, probably from not backing off when the cut was almost done, and some chips if I let it ride up on the blade.
