Cut the tile beautifully

Cuts glass ok (was cutting 3×9 all glass subway tiles) – just cut it upside down and you will be fine since some chipping may occur, change water frequently since a lot ! glass mud stays in the water and after about 10 tiles you can tell it’s starting to cut worse than in the beginning Also remember to cut on one side for at least 1/2″ or more then cut from the other side unless you want to have broken corners

Let me start by saying I don’t know much about diamond blades. I expected much more than what this blade delivered. On glass mosaic tiles I had to go SLOOOW or the glass would chip – badly. On the stone it was okay. I used this blade on a Ryobi wet saw so its not like I was using it incorrectly. I just think it didn’t have much on it for real diamond. No, I would not recommend this blade. I’d shop somewhere else.

The blade worked good for cutting my glass mosaic tile. Cut the natural stone pieces like butter! Was able to rip several pieces without much difficulty.

I would recommend this product for a glass tile without a silk screened pattern/sticker on the back. I was able to get nice cuts on the top side. But the back side would get chips. No big deal if it was a solid color glass tile, the chips would be hidden by the grout. But a clear glass tile with a pattern on the back showed the chips due to the missing portions of the silk screen pattern.

I got this for a bathroom renovation where I’m installing floor-to-ceiling thick glass tile. I’m not usually a big fan of Ridgid, but I knew the blade I had on my wet saw was chipping so bad I would never survive this project, so I was willing to try it. I must have been using a generic blade for ceramic before — by comparison this blade is amazing! I’ve made at least 50 cuts for my project so far. It cuts quickly. No chips. Super-smooth cuts. And for whatever reason, cut edges aren’t sharp — my hands are intact and no worry about cut placement on the wall. You won’t go wrong with this blade.

Just finished a kitchen backsplash. The backsplash was all glass mosaic tile. I used this 7 inch blade on my M&K wet saw. Nice clean, straight, and chip free cuts. I used the 4 inch version on my angle grinder for some intricate cutting with the same results. I would recommend this blade.

It was my first time cutting glass tile. This blade was recommended by flooring employee. Worked great and was able to produce a quality cut. It really helps when the store employees point you in the right direction. Thank you Home Depot.
