We have a Ridgid wet tile saw and were in need of a glass blade for cutting glass subway tile for our backsplash. This blade works well in that it doesn’t chip the glass portion of the tile. Just something to note – the tile that we are using has some sort of backing that gives the tile a grey hue. Due to that backing not being glass, we noticed some initial chipping on the backing, so with some blue painters tape and slowing down the cuts, we noticed that the chipping decreased. It’s not perfect, but that isn’t fault of the blade, the blade works great on glass. We would recommend this tile blade for cutting glass on an 8″ wet saw.

I did a glass back splash,, in a brick pattern, had outlets, switches, ends, corners. Every piece was cut very smooth. I was surprised by the cuts, thought I would have splinters, cracks or jagged edges avter a few dozen cuts. Never happened. Just wish HD would carry the blade since they sell the saw.

This blade worked great! I used in on a tile (wet) saw to cut mosaic tiles that were a combination of ceramic and glass pieces. It cut both effortlessly. The cuts were smooth and chip free. I highly recommend this blade.

Did exactly what was needed to complete a kitchen and bathroom backsplash. Wish this was carried in store inventory. Had to wait about a week for delivery thus tile project were delayed until this blade arrived.

The blade makes a very smooth cut on glass tiles. The only thing you need to watch for, is to let up the pressure a little bit when you finish the cut so that it doesn’t chip out a small piece at the end of the cut. The only thing that would be better, is if Home Depot carried this size blade in stock at their stores. Had to special order the blade.

USed this blade to cut 4″ x 8″ glass tiles – either length. Go slow. Cuts perfectly, some minor backside paint chipping. Keep wet saw bed free of dust.
