Excellent Jointer, does a fantastic job, well built and priced right. I am very happy with my purchase.

This is the first jointer I have owned or even used. With nothing to compare it to, it seems like a very well built machine and will fit nicely into my very small work space. I built a rolling platform so that I can move it around by myself. This thing is heavy!!! I have used it to joint a piece of 6 inch wide hickory and it had plenty of power. I would recommend this tool to anyone who needs a jointer and doesn’t have a lot of space. If you buy this jointer don’t hesitate to register for the Lifetime Service Agreement. I have several Ridgid tools and I am sorry to say this is the only tool that I registered before the deadline passed. Don’t be dumb like me. Register it before you take it out of the box!!!!

Be patient and deligent during set-up and you will have a good jointer, especially for the price.

Worth every penny! This jointer does a fantastic job facing and squaring stock. All metal construction, decent bearings, dead-flat bed, and square fence right out of the box.

It’s a great Jointer! I bought this from Home Depot in December 2020. I have a Rigid table saw and I am very happy with it so when I went to buy a Jointer I went with the Rigid and I’m so glad I did. The directions were very easy to follow. It took me about 2 hours to set up. It is heavy and I have a small shop so I ended up installing the Bora Universal mobile base kit on it. I would recommend doing this if you have to move it around.

Perfect right out of the boxAssembly is easy Jointer tables true and no adjustments needed. Enjoy the long indeed – out feed vs the smaller table top models. Makes glue joints for tables a breeze. Nice machine. Worth the price.

So far I love the results that I’ve gotten. I could use a better dust collection method but that is not the jointers issue. It is extremely heavy so I built a rolling locking stand for it. I’m sure I’ll get lots of use out of it in the future.

My first planer and I love it. Easy to assemble just read the instructions carefully. Definitely need two people for some of the assembly and setting it up. Cleaned up the edge of an old piece of oak once I had it assembled and was very impressed. No regrets on my purchase.

It’s quiet and accurate!…Wish it had wheels like my RIDGID table saw!!

Really great product was perfect for what we needed. It makes such smooth cuts there is no need for sanding afterwards!

So far this jointer has been great. Ive used soft wood and hard wood and it handled it all well. And everything was pretty much straight upon set up. Very glad to have it.

Easy to assemble, although two people is best. Using it so far with no issues. Well worth the wait and money.

So far I have been quite impressed with this jointer. Assembly is pretty forward, just have some help to turn it over. I confess when I unboxed this and put it together, I really, really looked hard for something wrong or cheap and couldn’t find anything. All of the casting edges are smooth & clean. The machine sounds nice and runs like hellfire. I’m currently making QSWO furniture and this will face joint the oak like buttah. I really like the size of it for a home shop and would buy it again.

Solid piece of machinery, fairly easy to assemble (you will want to have 2 people to setup due to weight). Heavy cast iron table reduces vibration and although only used it a few times so far it seems to make nice smooth cuts and is fairly quiet. Only dislike is the duct collection port diameter does not fit standard PVC size pipe.

This jointer performs great and the price point is the sweet spot for its size and performance. I am also very happy with the quietness of it, too. The assembly was pretty easy but to be safe you really should have a second person help you flip it right-side up after attaching the stand to the infeed/outfeed tables. It’s slightly over 200 lbs all assembled.Been running great and I definitely recommend it.

This jointer, for it’s size, has done a tremendous amount of work for me. Out of the box it was ALMOST perfect from the factory. I’ve never used the rabbiting or angled the fence but for jointing it does great.I do think that Home Depot charges way to much for the tool when it used to be in store for $300-$400 and there have been no upgrades.

This jointer is excellent, looked Others that were higher priced. I think this is the best one out there for the size
Bryce Hahn (verified owner) –
Its quieter than my craftsman was and so far seems to cut well. Its great for my small wood shop and I am glad I got it. Good price.
Priscilla Kemmer (verified owner) –
This jointer was easy to assemble and easy to use. Found it easier to assemble by assembling the base then installing the top but other than that I would recommend to anyone needing or looking for a midsize plainer

Great choice. It’s handled everything I’ve thrown at it so far from Curly Maple to Bubinga. Will probably upgrade to helical cutter head when current blades dull so I don’t have to deal with setting new blades.
