I like the power of this vacuum but most for me are the locking system for the hoses, they simply stay together at all times

I bought this a few months ago, to empty the water out of our hot tub. For that purpose, I bought the VF7000 wet filter. Changing the filter was easy. Changing back to the supplied filter was a little harder. Getting the seal wet seems to make removal a little harder.Emptying the unit of water can be done with the drain plug, I believe. I never used this feature, resorting to unclamping the top and dumping the contents. That worked fine for my purposes. The hose and attachments are simple to use. I found them sizeable, and not altogether small enough sized for my hands, which are large. A handle smaller than the hose size would be helpful.Because the suction is so powerful, I had to step on loose carpets at the same time as vacuuming. Having the attachments made with a bristle or corrugated edges might help this aspect, which currently makes it kind of hard to use for those carpets, as I don’t usually vacuum with my feet straddling what I am cleaning.I was picking up drywall bits. The filter clogged up substantially really quickly. It didn’t seem to affect suction, but it made emptying the unit dustier than I expected. I used another vacuum to suck the dust out from between the pleats. I have not ever had to do that with my other vacuum systems.Storage of the hose ends on the caster feet is easy. I am left wondering if it will eventually cause me to nibble the end of the rigid tubing, because it only holds the very end.Storing the wire can be done around the handle. I have not used that feature, because it appears it would cause the wire to interfere with my grip on the unit. The cord is long, which means you don’t need an extension when you are close enough to an outlet. The cord is not self-retracting.

This vac is very powerful, lightweight, and moderately quiet. I wish the top was larger to accommodate full disposable bag removal. The vac also needs hose storage, caster foot storage, side tank handles, and a better cord storage method.

The shop vac attachment worked perfectly to get in a tight area that I was needing to clean out. It was a perfect fit for my Rigid shop vac.

The power is unbelievable! Yes, it really sucks up everything! Very happy with this purchase. Great value for what you get especially with all the attachments. I use it around the house, garage and car and it has been amazing! Not to mention registering for the Lifetime Warranty is an added bonus! Love a company that backs and stands behind what they sell. I haven’t used it for any wet applications yet, but when I do I’m sure it will be flawless!

The price is way too high for, essentially, an 8” piece of plastic.

I like that there are different wand heads for different jobs and they just fit in easy reach on the machine. I also like that it’s made to be pulled and has good suction.

Not to easy to handle

i bought this to assist in dryer vent cleaning. It works awesome for me. Lots of power. Only issues i have is the hose is not very maneuverable and could be a little longer. Being stainless steel and using it for what I do, it produces alot of static electricity. So I am constantly getting shocked.

I’ve had this Vac for a couple of months and no problems. Great warranty service on an older Vac I had for years.

Great for getting saw dusk out of corners and where the wall meets the floor. I also use it to get to debris that is caught between two heavy objects I don’t want to move unless it is absolutely necessary. Saves time.

I have had the product for about a month and it seems to be suitable. It is the third ridgid wet dry that I have purchased. The other units were left with house when I sold. It had a swimming pool pump system and needed a vacuum. I have had Ridgid table saw, cutoff saw and hammer drill and planer. Many tools but never a complimentary apron!
