My cheap small wet/dry vac motor blew and it was time to get a new wet/dry vac for work and house projects.I’ve used a few Rigid vacuums in the past owned by friends but never bought one myself, until now.Great power and attachments! Did I mention the motor comes off to be used as a blower?! Genius.The hose could be 2 feet longer but other than that it has some great features and good power as long as you keep the filter clean.

It had a swimming pool pump system and needed a vacuum. I have had Ridgid table saw, cutoff saw and hammer drill and planer. Many tools but never a complimentary apron!

I do wish the accessory ports on the base were more encased to house the extensions better, but not a deal breaker

Needed a new vac and went for this nice stainless Rigid unit. Well equipped to start and the hose/attachment holders are a great feature. Motor is strong and quiet for a shop vac. Noise from the metal canister can be a bit loud if you have screws, etc that you have picked up.

I bought this vac to replace my Shop-vac brand one which only lasted three and a half years of moderate use. Granted, it was a low-end one. So I decided to get a quality one with better warranty. This one has much more suction power, but is pretty loud. I use it most in my garage for woodworking and occasionally vacuum my cars with it. Included attachments are handy for everything I use it for.

I like the power of this vac and that it came with all the accessories I want. The storage ideas for the cord, hose and accessories are great to keep everything together. The storage clips could be a little better as the floor and squeegee tools easily fall off if bumped. The filter attaches by friction fit which is good that there is no locknut to lose but it takes some getting use to in removing it. I suggest a molded in or label on the motor platform indicating “front”.
