L provides extended reach in hard-to-reach spots such as under car seats. With the new locking design, your accessory locks onto the hose or wand so it wont fall off during use. I bought this a few months ago and I absolutely love this thing. I did get a few extras like: 3rd extension, exhaust muffler, and angled end for cleaning the small corners. Everything looks in wonderfully, you will pull it over before you lose suction. The 6HP is plenty for any normal man and his garage/shop. The only thing I would change would be a better locking bottom contraption for the wheels and extras, fell off a few times. I love this little guy and even nick names it R2D2 just for fun.

I bought this item because I have had great experience with ridged tools. I had purchased a shop vacuum 15 years earlier, it is in great shape but I needed to leave it at the lake property. So when I was looking for a new shop vacuum there was no question on which one I would choose. I was in the store and found this one and it went home with me. It has been great I just have to wipe it out when I am finished using it. It still shines in the corner of the garage.

Lots of suction, but I find the hose is real stiff and a bit hard to get into tight places because of the size, I’m trying to find a reducer to add my old shop vac hose to it for that reason, otherwise I like it

I bought this small shop vac to replace a larger unit. It is lightweight and great to tote around. The vacuum tube is very flexible and not stiff. The downside to this particular design is the power cord is exceptionally short. The nozzle is not a useful shape (I had to buy an alternative nozzle) and the exhaust is positioned in a way that it blows on what you are trying to vacuum which is very annoying. The latches on the sides that keep the unit closed are plastic and do not seem durable.

Have had this vacuum for close to a year now. I don’t use it every day, but when I do it meets all my needs. I usually use it with a Dust cyclone when picking up a lot of sawdust, shavings such as from my lathe. I seem to lose a little suction with the cyclone, but still have enough suction to get the job done. I like the stainless steel tank. My garage floor is smooth, and the vac rolls around without any problems. I have not used it for wet pickup yet, so have no comments about that aspect.I am really happy with the vacuum.
