This tool does a good job of cleaning gutters, but you need to know four things. First, you need one of the more powerful shop vacs. I suggest you set it to blow and remove the paper filter in the vac for more CFM. (Using suction with leaves works poorly as they clog the wand almost instantly.)Second, you need more than the supplied two extensions. I needed a total of seven to reach the gutters on my house. So, I used the two that came with my vac, the two with this kit, and ordered 3 more.Third, you need to screw the sections together. Friction will not do it. Use 3 SHORT screws 120 degrees apart on each joint.Fourth is technique. Use a back and forth motion, not a straight line one. Twist the wand so it mechanically dislodges leaves and then the air will blow them away.

I bought this item because I have had great experience with ridged tools. I had purchased a shop vacuum 15 years earlier, it is in great shape but I needed to leave it at the lake property. So when I was looking for a new shop vacuum there was no question on which one I would choose. I was in the store and found this one and it went home with me. It has been great I just have to wipe it out when I am finished using it. It still shines in the corner of the garage.

Like it so far, only had it a few months, we’ll see if it last as long as my master craft did (3years), the only thing I don’t like about it is the hose is big and bulky, just have to get use to it.

I’ve had other shop-vacs and this one is so much better. The stainless steel drum is a great feature because it’s very strong and super easy to clean. Suction is excellent and the various hose attachments are great. Nothing bad to say about this – it’s a great product.

I was using a much smaller shop vac to do dudes around my shop. Thought I needed to upgrade to make my projects more feasible as far as cleanup and being able to hook up to other tools and get the maximum performance of sawdust removal. Man oh man am I glad I made this purchase! The power behind it is undeniable and gets the job done much quicker. Plus an added bonus you can purchase other accessories that make the job fit your cleaning needs. Spend the extra money and get what you want and get a job done and save time. Highly recommend it! I do wish the accessory ports on the base were more encased to house the extensions better, but not a deal breaker

I bought this small shop vac to replace a larger unit. It is lightweight and great to tote around. The vacuum tube is very flexible and not stiff. The downside to this particular design is the power cord is exceptionally short. The nozzle is not a useful shape (I had to buy an alternative nozzle) and the exhaust is positioned in a way that it blows on what you are trying to vacuum which is very annoying. The latches on the sides that keep the unit closed are plastic and do not seem durable.

I had to replace my old shop vac of 36 years. Sad to see it go, but this new one is a delight to use. I would highly recommend

I got this vacuum over Christmas. It is a great product and works well. The only thing they could add the adapter kit included.
