RIDGID 2-1/2 in. locking floor brush is great for general cleanup of hard surface floors. The large 14 in. brush effectively captures more dirt and debris in your path. With the new locking design, your accessory locks onto the hose or wand so it wont fall off during use. Easily detach by releasing the locking tab or twisting off. The 2-1/2 in. opening is the optimal size for tackling large messes with a RIDGID wet dry vac. Max your vac and get the most out of your cleaning tools, with RIDGID 2-1/2 in. locking accessories.
- Ideal accessory for wide spread messes over large hard surfaces
- 14 in. W brush effectively captures more dirt and debris in your path
- 2-1/2 in. opening is the optimal size for large scale debris cleanups
- Locking tab secures the accessory to the wand/hose
- Accessory locks on to the wand/hose via a secure locking tab
- Easy, struggle free detachment, by releasing the locking tab or twisting off

This review is based on having for less than a year. I really like the Rigid Steel Wet Dry Vac with only 1 exception….the exhaust fan for the motor assembly is located beneath the handle. This is ok if not needing to grab the handle to move or pick up the vac while running. The hot air blows up to the handle and is too hot to hold for any more than a few seconds when the unit is on. This is the only reason to deduct 1 star. The good is that the suction is very good! Rolls around the garage and driveway flooring very well. Long power cord that is soft and flexible rather than the hardened rubber of other brands. Paxkaged very well. Just know that the screws for the handle are in the corner of the plastic bag wrap! Take ot from me. I couldn’t find the screws and wasn’t happy thinking the forgot to include them. However, their customwr support was awesome. I sent an email and within 2 hours had a response explaing where to find the screws within thebplastic packaging. They even supplied visual pictures of where on thebplastic I would find the screws! Luckily I hadn’t thrown away the packaging yet!

i bought this to assist in dryer vent cleaning. It works awesome for me. Lots of power. Only issues i have is the hose is not very maneuverable and could be a little longer. Being stainless steel and using it for what I do, it produces alot of static electricity. So I am constantly getting shocked.

I bought this a few months ago, to empty the water out of our hot tub. For that purpose, I bought the VF7000 wet filter. Changing the filter was easy. Changing back to the supplied filter was a little harder. Getting the seal wet seems to make removal a little harder.Emptying the unit of water can be done with the drain plug, I believe. I never used this feature, resorting to unclamping the top and dumping the contents. That worked fine for my purposes. The hose and attachments are simple to use. I found them sizeable, and not altogether small enough sized for my hands, which are large. A handle smaller than the hose size would be helpful.Because the suction is so powerful, I had to step on loose carpets at the same time as vacuuming. Having the attachments made with a bristle or corrugated edges might help this aspect, which currently makes it kind of hard to use for those carpets, as I don’t usually vacuum with my feet straddling what I am cleaning.I was picking up drywall bits. The filter clogged up substantially really quickly. It didn’t seem to affect suction, but it made emptying the unit dustier than I expected. I used another vacuum to suck the dust out from between the pleats. I have not ever had to do that with my other vacuum systems.Storage of the hose ends on the caster feet is easy. I am left wondering if it will eventually cause me to nibble the end of the rigid tubing, because it only holds the very end.Storing the wire can be done around the handle. I have not used that feature, because it appears it would cause the wire to interfere with my grip on the unit. The cord is long, which means you don’t need an extension when you are close enough to an outlet. The cord is not self-retracting.

I like the power of this vacuum but most for me are the locking system for the hoses, they simply stay together at all times

I spend a fair amount of time researching shop vacs before purchasing this one. I am very pleased with my purchase. The unit it self seems very well made with high quality attachments. The hose is substantial, yet flexible. The power cord is long wraps easily. This vac performs very well and has more than enough power.Very pleased with my purchase and I highly recommend this vac.

I’ve had other shop-vacs and this one is so much better. The stainless steel drum is a great feature because it’s very strong and super easy to clean. Suction is excellent and the various hose attachments are great. Nothing bad to say about this – it’s a great product.

This vacuum works excellent,LOTS of cleaning and pickup power

This vac is very powerful, lightweight, and moderately quiet. I wish the top was larger to accommodate full disposable bag removal. The vac also needs hose storage, caster foot storage, side tank handles, and a better cord storage method.

It fits and it sucks. What you need a vacuum part to do 🙂

I was using a much smaller shop vac to do dudes around my shop. Thought I needed to upgrade to make my projects more feasible as far as cleanup and being able to hook up to other tools and get the maximum performance of sawdust removal. Man oh man am I glad I made this purchase! The power behind it is undeniable and gets the job done much quicker. Plus an added bonus you can purchase other accessories that make the job fit your cleaning needs. Spend the extra money and get what you want and get a job done and save time. Highly recommend it! I do wish the accessory ports on the base were more encased to house the extensions better, but not a deal breaker

Worked fantastically for our water damage maintenance. The hose and cord were lengthy and that was needed. Really, my only complaint was the accessories didnt quite store as nicely as i had planned.

Good shop vac with plenty of power. Hose larger than anticipated and sometimes hard to handle. Wheels need to be bigger so they don’t hang up so much on debris common to a work area.

Bought this for our new shop. Filled two bags and the can a few times. I dropped it about 8’ it didn’t leave a mark. Awesome vac would recommend to anyone.

I have a ShopVac and needed a brush attachment. The sweep works very well and is held in place with a friction fit to my hose extension.

Very pleased with operation and all included accessories . Very well designed and very well made . large hose diameter is excellent also ease of connecting hose and nozzles. Large filter inside is securely held in pace but is easy to remove . Stainles body looks great . Large motor securing clips to body are also excellent .

Lots of suction, but I find the hose is real stiff and a bit hard to get into tight places because of the size, I’m trying to find a reducer to add my old shop vac hose to it for that reason, otherwise I like it
