This 20′ hose works great for cleaning out gutters and the cars. Only gave it 4 stars because it does not include an adapter to fit “older” RIDGID vacuums (not that old). Out of the box, it will only fit the newer models with the smaller ports. My bad for not verifying, and I was able to track down an adapter, but disappointing nonetheless.

Works well. Slightly lighter weight material than the original hose, but OK. I have an older Rigid shop vacuum and it has a different size connector than comes with this hose. I called Rigid and they sent me the correct connector. You need to give them the model and serial number of your machine to make that happen.

This length of hose is very handy for me when cleaning gutters or leaves in the back yard. Very old hose of same length, just in bad shape after probably 40 years. Glad to find this hose.

Better buy than the 13 foot. If you have an older Rigid shop vac like me, mine is a 6.25 from 2001, the connector in the vac is slightly larger than the newer 2.5 inch vac and Home depot or Rigid online don’t have the older fitting. I found one on a online parts store. Shame on Home depot.

Bought a new house and the wife (an ex-smoker) says “you ain’t smoking in our new home!” Well I showed her. Bought 20 ft of hose and a Rigid Vac and made myself a Hookah pipe right through our window of the house. The 2.5” hose is just big enough for my big mouth to inhale and exhale that sweet tobacco and that Vacuum is powerful enough to keep the smell out. Best part is when I’m getting yelled at, I just turn on the vac and I can’t hear her yelling at me. It’s a win / win! Thanks Rigid for saving my sanity AND marriage!!!!
