With the new locking design, your hose locks onto both your vac and your wand or accessory, so nothing falls during use. It fits all RIDGID 2-1/2 in. inlet configurations and includes 3 adapters for compatibility. The hose’s Dual-Flex feature adds 180° mobility at each end and its flexible design resists clogging. this is basically just a longer version of the hose that came with the Ridgid shop vac. that being said it is very handy to have because you can leave the shop back in one place and only drag the hose around or potentially leave it outside a small room so you can work with less noise.
