Very pleased with operation and all included accessories . Very well designed and very well made . large hose diameter is excellent also ease of connecting hose and nozzles. Large filter inside is securely held in pace but is easy to remove . Stainles body looks great . Large motor securing clips to body are also excellent .

I like that there are different wand heads for different jobs and they just fit in easy reach on the machine. I also like that it’s made to be pulled and has good suction.

Great product. Quality and performance that can be expected from a Ridgid product.

still have a larger Ridgid vac going strong and wanted a little smaller one…..but it still has lots of power. This one is great

I like the power of this vac and that it came with all the accessories I want. The storage ideas for the cord, hose and accessories are great to keep everything together. The storage clips could be a little better as the floor and squeegee tools easily fall off if bumped. The filter attaches by friction fit which is good that there is no locknut to lose but it takes some getting use to in removing it. I suggest a molded in or label on the motor platform indicating “front”.

Have had this vacuum for close to a year now. I don’t use it every day, but when I do it meets all my needs. I usually use it with a Dust cyclone when picking up a lot of sawdust, shavings such as from my lathe. I seem to lose a little suction with the cyclone, but still have enough suction to get the job done. I like the stainless steel tank. My garage floor is smooth, and the vac rolls around without any problems. I have not used it for wet pickup yet, so have no comments about that aspect.I am really happy with the vacuum.

Plenty of suction for a small drum, didn’t come with all the hardware to assemble I put in the screws in the handle. All is good, should come with all items for doing the floors. I bought one 20 years ago and it came with everything needed.

I needed a smaller wet/dry vac to replace my behemoth 20 gallon dewalt vac. Only complaints I have are 1) Hose is too short 6ft 2) switch is rather small and cheesy.

This shop vac is the best one I ever owned. Totally impressed with the power this beast has.

I’ve had this Vac for a couple of months and no problems. Great warranty service on an older Vac I had for years.

I use it in the house, shop, RV and Truck as well in the outdoors

This vac is very powerful, lightweight, and moderately quiet. I wish the top was larger to accommodate full disposable bag removal. The vac also needs hose storage, caster foot storage, side tank handles, and a better cord storage method.

I bought my ash vac this past winter and had the opportunity to use it on a number of occasions. It did a great job of picking up the residual waste from my pellet stove with no ash dust blowback. I expect to use it many more times this coming winter.

I bought this a few months ago, to empty the water out of our hot tub. For that purpose, I bought the VF7000 wet filter. Changing the filter was easy. Changing back to the supplied filter was a little harder. Getting the seal wet seems to make removal a little harder.Emptying the unit of water can be done with the drain plug, I believe. I never used this feature, resorting to unclamping the top and dumping the contents. That worked fine for my purposes. The hose and attachments are simple to use. I found them sizeable, and not altogether small enough sized for my hands, which are large. A handle smaller than the hose size would be helpful.Because the suction is so powerful, I had to step on loose carpets at the same time as vacuuming. Having the attachments made with a bristle or corrugated edges might help this aspect, which currently makes it kind of hard to use for those carpets, as I don’t usually vacuum with my feet straddling what I am cleaning.I was picking up drywall bits. The filter clogged up substantially really quickly. It didn’t seem to affect suction, but it made emptying the unit dustier than I expected. I used another vacuum to suck the dust out from between the pleats. I have not ever had to do that with my other vacuum systems.Storage of the hose ends on the caster feet is easy. I am left wondering if it will eventually cause me to nibble the end of the rigid tubing, because it only holds the very end.Storing the wire can be done around the handle. I have not used that feature, because it appears it would cause the wire to interfere with my grip on the unit. The cord is long, which means you don’t need an extension when you are close enough to an outlet. The cord is not self-retracting.

I bought this item because I have had great experience with ridged tools. I had purchased a shop vacuum 15 years earlier, it is in great shape but I needed to leave it at the lake property. So when I was looking for a new shop vacuum there was no question on which one I would choose. I was in the store and found this one and it went home with me. It has been great I just have to wipe it out when I am finished using it. It still shines in the corner of the garage.

I bought stainless steel shop vac few months ago and I love it for cleaning.

I love the 2 inch diameter hose, powerful motor, only downfall is the filter, needs a better way to filter.. The bags aren’t reusable and the filter that comes with the vac, gets blocked quickly
