With no compressor, no hose, and no gas cartridge, this 16-Gauge finish nailer provides a faster setup and easier maneuvering on the job site. The RIDGID HYPERDRIVE 16-Gauge 2-1/2 in. Straight Finish Nailer drives 16-Gauge nails from 3/4 in. to 2-1/2 in. This tool is backed by the RIDGID Lifetime Service Agreement providing FREE seals, FREE pistons, and FREE driver blades – For LIFE. If you need a nailer… don’t even think twice. This has got power, hasn’t jammed once in the 3 weeks I’ve been using it. Quality, solid, finish gun and with a warranty that gaurantees your tool for the rest of your life?? Why would you even think about saving a couple bucks buying one of those red, yellow, green, or blue nail guns.. are ya crazy? Solid loyal Ridgid customer for about 20 power tools.. no brainer!!

Hey, it bangs nails in, and it bangs them well! Would like to have a little more adjustment on the power as it bangs in short nails too far on thin material sometimes. But, it does bang them in! I built a fireplace mantle, surround, and built-in bookshelves without a recharge, so I am happy.

Works very well. Even though a little heavy by comparison to a Paslode, it is constant (so far) when needed. The Paslode was great, except when it decided to be contrary about firing. No compressor or hose to get in the way and be noisy. Like the lifetime warranty.
