Straight Finish Nailer drives 16-Gauge nails from 3/4 in. to 2-1/2 in. This tool is backed by the RIDGID Lifetime Service Agreement providing FREE seals, FREE pistons, and FREE driver blades – For LIFE. It does the job, is slightly heavy. Rubber tip won’t stay on unless you use some silicone. Also, when there’s about an inch left of the nail clip, you have to add another clip or it may misfire or jam. The batteries just won’t stay charged for very long and I have 3 of them that I need to constantly swap out. The finish nailer I have is the angled one, which I don’t see on this website, but it’s the Ridgid batteries I have an issue with. I also own a Milwaukee battery operated drill, impact and miter saw which have no battery draining issues. I know what I’ll buy next time.

This is a great nailer. The only reason it doesn’t get a full 5 stars is the lack of an angled head. This makes it a bit difficult when doing crown moulding and other nailing in corners. Otherwise its amazing! I stick with Ridgid for my battery operated tools – A) I’ll alway have a freshly charged battery available since they recharge so quickly and are interchangeable from tool to tool and B) Ridgid offers a lifetime warranty that covers both tool AND batteries.
