This is a great tool to have. Great design easy to use. Does jam up every so often but with Ridgids lifetime warranty ill take it

Tool nails very well as intended. I liked that the depth of the nail could easily be adjusted to meet field conditions without making adjustments at the air supply. The only thing that I did not like about it was the shingle reveal gauge could not be set to a standard shingle reveal of 5 5/8” therefore I had to use a shingle hatchet to set every shingle before nailing. Most other nailers I have used allow you to set the reveal gauge to the proper distance and set the shingles using only the nailer. Use of the hatchet increased the time and effort needed to set the shingles compared to setting and nailing using one tool.

This gun works out of the box but after 50 or so bundles it fails to feed nails reliably. It’ll misfire 4 or 5 times a coil punching a hole in the shingle. If I were a professional roofer this gun would be sailing off the roof.

Great tool. Fast response and consistent drive of fastener

The nail gun works great. The depth adjustment works very well. I highly recommend this tool.

Works perfect! I have a roofing company and its my 6th Ridgid roofing nailer.

This is a hard working gun! Don’t forget to turn down the air pressure. It works well with less than 100lbs.
Roger VonRueden (verified owner) –
Once you set the pressure it is a great gun.

Worked very well for the first time using one. Also purchased the rigid air compressor to match and have sufficient air to work this tool. Very nice product. Used two guns on 25 square roof on two separate compressors as not to fluctuate air pressure. Both worked well.

This is not the nailer that I intended to buy when I arrived at my local store, but the one I wanted was out of stock. I didnt’ check the reviews on the Ridgid before I went shopping, but with an emergency roof repair looming, I didn’t have a lot of time– and the sales associate at HD said the Ridgid was a great tool, so I bought it. And it was a Great purchase. 3500 nails later, this gun was a beast. We set the pressure on the compressor at 90 psi and it performed flawlessly– no jams and the only missed nails were when I ran out and forgot to reload. Easy to load, it was even something my wife could use (she wants me to buy another one so she can keep this one!).

I used the nailer for one roofing project and had no issues at all. I sold the nailer the following week for what I paid. The brand came highly recommended. It did its job, I was happy

worked great putting roof on shed. will use it on house next.

Got this a year ago to do some small roofing jobs. This roofing nailer has performed well with the high quality nails I purchase. Some double shots here and there but < 1%. Never jammed. I do have a tendency to baby my tools to ensure performance and longevity, but do not use them all day, every day. My only complaint is that its a bit bulky/heavy. Keep it oiled. Great tool, overall.
